i actually bought this album like 10 years ago in my real hip hop phase,. dont remember much from it.

I actually started bumping this album really heavily again around that same time...I guess I was just discontent with the hip-hop back then that I just reverted back to 90s shyt.

It was...I didn't mess with it. That was when Jeru fell out with the whole Gangstarr foundation and had d-level production. I believe after Guru passed though they finally reconciled their differences.

Dude was actually somewhat of a visible force in hip-hop from 94-98, had videos on MTV, BET, and then after that basically was forced into the underground a la Canibus.

tobe honest i didin't feel playin ya self..it just felt a bit corny for me..but the video was fukkin great, brilliantly shot and nice shapes.
