Are you gettin' senile in your old age, Reb?

Building across the street from your old location means the old location is an free space now.
You don't know that?

Sure I do...I know NYC doesn't have any football stadiums that host any pro teams in the 5 boroughs.
That's what I said at first. Is that wrong?

I'm done with the fake out of town sports talk.

You have no respect for niqqas from a place you don't know shyt about and resort to shyt slander.

Senile?

My dude...you don't know shyt about this city. 77% of New Yorkers are against tax payer funds to build here. So it will take a huge amount of money for someone to build here in their own dime.

You don't know shyt about here and got the nerve to slander me. Just stop with the fake sports talk on NYC. It's fake

I know that if they really wanted a football stadium in New York City, they could make it happen.

Fuccin' Citi Field ain't been there since the 60s, They built that chit across from Shea. I know what i'm talkin' about.
They coulda kept that ground Old Shea was on and built a football stadium there....but nope!

They might've done it if the Jets ever won chit, doe. LMAO

*starts printing up "LET THE JETS GO!" t-shirts*
Parkland is extremely difficult to build on in NYC. Even though it's a parking lot now, that's what the land where Shea used to be is. The Yankees built their new stadium on parkland and had to replace the park they built it on (which is right next to it)Same with the Mets. NYCFC wanted to build where old Shea was and they got deaded. Outside of parkland, the only real space to build is over rail yards (barclays, west side and if they haven't had the idea already, sunnyside yard)

This is what a team from Jersey parade celebrating the championship with their fans looks like. A parade in the back of the fukking meadowlands parking lot. :russ:

And you want to tell us that the Jets and Giants are NJ teams because they play their games there? :mjlol:

They are a New York team.

Yea I remember those Devils Cup parades as a kid, even I was like :wtf: even they were celebrating in the CAA parking lot. Glad they if they ever won a Cup again parade would be in downtown Newark, now the fukkery would be a sight I would want to see lol. Yea the Meadowlands isn't really in a city area so the Jets and Giants are NY teams playing in NJ, now if they were in Jersey City, Hoboken, or Newark calling themselves the NY Jets and Giants then it gets murky a bit.

For real. The meadowlands are swamps and marsh lands. There was room to build there cheaply while just a stonesthrow away from the city.

These dudes in here are just so fake with their sports talk.

This is fake NYC talk. You simply don't know shyt and swear up and down you can simply build here based on what the Yanks and Mets did moving across the street. :mjlol: you don't want to learn. You will hear it from others and simply move forward with your out of town beliefs

lol...it's not a "belief" that NYC doesn't house a football team - it's a "fact".

Teams can desire all they want but it's difficult. Not saying it's impossible though. Barclays got built but it went through tons of problems before it happened. The Yankees have been wanting to build over west side yard since forever, plus Dolan will do anything to block any type of sports/entertainment development being it will be a couple blocks from MSG. Sunnyside yard is owned by amtrak but to build anything, you need to get nys, nj and the feds on the same page. Good luck with that (east side access is an example).

I have said for years there is space in Queens to build a Jets stadium. I remember when they unveiled the plans for the West Side stadium. One of the major issues would have been traffic which would be a bytch. As a jets fan though I'll say we will never good until Woody sells the team to an owner that loves football not headlines and has knowledge in football.

:ohhh:I wasn't even thinking all that but yeah. The R was supposed to go all the way to Staten Island but they just cut it off at 95th St in Bay Ridge. They even have the tracks on the Verrazano.
There was supposed to be a tunnel built connecting Brooklyn to SI. They discontinued it. It would have been dope if there was another tunnel line. I live in Sunset so to get to SI is a hassle if I'm not driving. I take the D train to 36th. Switch to take the R to Bay Ridge. Get off at 86th and 4th. And take the Staten Island buses. If there was a tunnel it would have been an extention of the N and R train.
