Bruh, you watch Lamar’s pro day? :usure:

I’m a BIG Lamar fan.. but he needs work bruh. They were making him throw all NFL throws and .. well, it was just bad breh. Real bad. :francis:

Lamar Jackson is a 11 on 11 player. Fukk throwing in shorts at the combine.

His college tape says he's Michael Vick 2.0.

Allen, Darnold, and Rosen have better long term prospects because they are better pocket passers. But next season, Lamar Jackson will be the best QB from this year's draft.

His athleticism will be too much for the NFL to handle.

Let's be honest. The Jets had to move up into the top 3 by any means neccessary. They were pretty active in free agency knowing that they were going to trade up somehow. But the Jets could not move forward without picking one of the top 4 QBs (ideally Rosen or Allen).

Was it expensive? Yes but the fanbase would have revolted if they didn't at least shoot their shot. I don't care for the move but it had to be done.
Naw teams like the Jets,Bills and Browns are those type of teams that consistently make dumb decisions. Why you think they always suck?

I will say the Browns may have turned the corner. They made some really good draft picks and made wise decision in FA. I would be surprised if they didnt make the playoffs soon

Exactly, and on the flipside Mayfield, Darnold, and to some degree Rosen are all naturally accurate (Rosen was hurt by garbage receivers if anyone was). 56% comp in the Mountain West is AWFUL, if Allen was an nfl caliber prospect he should have dominated his competition.

Mayfield is a gimmick QB who played in an air raid system on a team with the most talent in it's conference.

Put Josh Allen in his spot and they beat Georgia in the Rose Bowl. That was a game that exposed Mayfield in the 2nd half as a system player who can't make things happen when the other team figures out the gimmicks.

Matt Stafford is his immediate comparable. He was below 60 percent except for his last year and has some sub 50 percent years while with the Lions. Allen can survive but he needs playmakers at WR and RB.
But Stafford did crack the 60 percent mark in college. Allen never did that.

Go look up Brett Favre's numbers in college. They were ugly. Matt Ryan and Matt Stafford's college numbers weren't great either and both have become decent NFL QBs.

I watch film. Fukk looking at stats. And based on the FILM, Josh Allen is a stud.

He's a Dan Marino type passer with athleticism. Put him with a good offensive coordinator and he can be Carson Wentz 2.0.
Oh please, Farve was known for putting the team on his back and carried the load. He will never be like Wentz. Wentz was conistantly accurate for 3 strong years. I agree he has some good mechanics, played a pro-styled offense under center but he still missed wide open receivers. Pass.

Talk to me win yall bums make the playoffs. I would say Super Bowl but we all know that ain't ever happening this lifetime.:umad:

York is the opposite of Jerry Jones. He'll let the GM do whatever the fukk he wants. The problem was Baalke was a bum.

Lynch is that dude tho :francis:

Vick 2.0 isnt as good as you make it sound

Vick never fully developed and reallg had a worse career than a guy like Alex Smith

True but you really think we would of won more games than the Broncos and Colts if we started Petty and Hackenberg?

I didn't watch a single down of NFL football last season and I'm even pretty confident we wouldn't have...

Actually I don't know if you guys could have lost more games. Remember you got the Dolphins and Bills in the division essentially perennial 8-8 teams. So when the Jets play them it's essentially a coin flip, most years the Jets split with them. On top of that the AFC is top loaded so you are going to get wins against shytty teams like the Browns or Bengals or even Mercurial teams like say the Texans or Broncos or Colts. In short the Jets have too much defensive talent to consistenly lose games.

Michael Vick had his career unfairly destroyed by racist whites. Before the dog trial he was leading a team of scrubs to the NFC championship game.

Vick minus the dog trial is a Hall of Fame QB.

:snoop:

I been telling yall this from jump

Lamar is not an nfl qb. That last game in the bowl showed that. All them damn turnovers.

You cant run for your life in the nfl and offense cannot sustain that way. Vick literally had the falcons offense built around him with warrick dunn and that oline.

There is no tailor made offense right now for lamar. His best bet to be drafted is jacksonville
