I don't think the Rams or Broncos have determined who their QB is of yet.

Either way, I'm fine with the Jets taking their time on this.

Fitz needs to get real as he has too many years that weren't like 2015.

Not too many teams wanna pay a guy whose been a career backup level player at 33 for the one good season they just had.

The reality is the best fit for Fitz is with the Jets and the best fit for the Jets is Fitz, but they both are being stubborn because they know they need eachother

bills 2-0 over them last year

they had a winning record when tyrod started and finished games

They only thing I trust with Rex is his record vs Fitzpatrick starting games, it's great. Bills Defense regressed badly under Rex last year, the fact they were 1-3 vs NFC East last season and they barely beat the Cowboys too is :scust: enough. If the Bills have any success is if Greg Roman learns how to better utilize Sammy Watkins.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
If Fitz is no franchise guy, then why waste our time with him? And no I'm not saying RG3 and Geno Smith are either, but at least with them there's a slight bit of potential (whereas there's none with Fitzpatrick). And if they're really as bad as you and everybody else says they are, then we'll do really bad and be able to land a potential franchise QB.

This is why I'm still very salty that this team went out and won meaningless games in 2014 when we could have just lost out and drafted Jameis Winston. Then we wouldn't have any of these problems. But our fanbase was so against the idea of tanking because "ZOMG, HOW COULD YOU THINK ABOUT WANTING TO LOSE! YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!!!!" even though we lost all the games when it counted. Yet Jets fans act like we're too good to tank :snoop:

I'm just looking at the bigger picture. I have no interest in just making it to the playoffs only to be a 1st round sacrificial lamb to a much better team. I've been a Jets fan for almost 20 years. I've seen the highs and I've seen the lows. At this point, just being competitive doesn't excite me. I don't wanna be competitive, I wanna win!

The jets overpaid for vets so they can win now. They want what they already know but they didn't even make the playoffs last year. This team only has a 1 or 2 year window if that.

Eh, not exactly. They overpaid players because they had to. They didn't spend any money at all the past 2 seasons, and the CBA requires that you have to spend a certain percentage of the cap within a certain amount of time. Or else you'll face punishment.

So while they did get players that could help them get better, they didn't overpay to win now. They overpaid because they had no choice but to splurge. It's the same thing that the Jaguars and Raiders are doing this offseason

We're making up for two failed regimes over the last 8 years. The Jets need to draft better...nothing else really matters.

@LastEmperor2k2

I made posted this a week ago, and this sums up exactly why I feel the way I do about Fitz

So lemme get this straight, I just wanna put this all in perspective...

You have the Denver Broncos, a team who's coming fresh off a SB win (who theoretically just needs a game manager to get back there). They have 2 choices...

1) Beg San Francisco to take a high draft pick for Kaepernick (whose stock is completely down at the moment). On the surface, the Niners have said Kaep is unavailable.

2) Get Fitzpatrick for no compensation (after coming off a career year, throwing 30+ TDs) and take him away from a potential AFC playoff team.

After failing to re-sign Osweiler (who they benched in favor of a fragile, noodle armed Peyton Manning), left to those 2 choices they've decided to go after Kaepernick.

They're going after a guy who isn't even available as their first choice. But yet WE should bring Fitzpatrick back as our starter :laff: :russ: :bryan: :mjlol: :dead:

Going for Kaep makes sense if you believe you can rehabilitate them.

That to me is the focus of the Broncos, it's not so much about right now with them anymore, they just won the SB.

Broncos want Kaep more because he is young and they thought they had a young guy groomed to take over and he bolted and they don't need a win now mentality,

That's the reasoning behind Kaep>Fitz to them. Broncos aren't thinking in the short-term

Keller was good for a bit.

I'm not ready to close the book on Milliner yet, his main problem is staying healthy. Not talent. Milliner should get the starting spot opposite of Revis next season. if he can stay healthy, he should be fine

We can shut the door on Dee. He can't stay healthy. When he was healthy he sucked. Lastly he's at the end of his contract where if it ended now he'd be one of the worst draft picks in Jet history and that's saying a lot.

:laff: @ the posters acting like Fitz will throw for 30+ TDs ever in a season again...

There's a real chance he's more likely to throw 20+ INTs next season as he is to throw 20+ TDs.

Jets are as likely to go 10-6 this season as they are were expected to go 10-6 last season = 0%

Who endores paying Ryan Fitzpatrick 12+ million dollars a year ever??

You nikkas :mjlol:

I heard they wanna pay em 7m, if that's so that's just awful.

Give him 13m and call it a day and he better take it

This..... and they gonna have to pay it too.... Chase Daniel didn't even start and got 3 years 21 mil, with 12 million guaranteed.....

I know fitz agent looked at the Jets GM like :childplease: when they made that offer
