So far as electability, Sanders is polling just as good as Biden in the general election matchups, both nationally and state-by-state. The only group that doesn't favor him is the Democratic establishment. Biden probably picks up a tiny sliver of "moderates" that wouldn't go for Bernie but Bernie fully makes up with that with the voters he attracts that wouldn't go for Biden or likely even vote at all.
