weird word salad you got there
objectively speaking, do black people benefit from a Biden or Bernie presidency?
In the grand scheme of things IMO we would overall as a community not benefit from neither, but would be well worse off with 4 more years of trump.

Joe's flat out is not going to do shyt for us, Jim clyburns cosign already gave him the ok to continue benign neglect.

Don't y'all have a Bernie Circle jerk thread? :unimpressed:
You’re a reasonable dude. Is any point made here wrong? I understand being pragmatic but at what point do we push to support politicians that wanna do more. I even see it in my own state. Black folks I know here in KY don’t wanna support the black progressive going for Senator because they don’t think he can beat Mitch. So they’re going behind the republican light candidate who excites literally nobody. Honestly neither of them probably stand much of a chance at beating Mitch, but why not try to go for the person who’s pushing to do more for us? I don’t get it. At least they’re trying, ya know?

Where is all the fake outrage from the southern voter discussions?

HL posters spent the last 3 days cheering on these Blue Check cacs using southern black voters to shield themselves from criticism on their support for systems of inequality.

Now when the mask slips off and one of them tries to lecture a black womam on civil rights its crickets. :coffee: surprised at the amount of HL posters that enjoy seeing black folks being tools of the powerful

Bernie is offering things to black people.

Hell, expunging marijuana convictions alone would open up careers for millions of black people.

Biden isnt offering that.

So again, who is better for black people: Biden or Bernie?

I am having a hard time computing how black people wouldn't benefit from free college and healthcare.

Its because other races would get the benefits too. Biting off the nose to spite the face is what's this about. For generations, black folk died to have a level playing field and to excel. Now people dont want that......They want to DOMINATE and become the oppressor themselves.

I'm all for black people and specific policies like HBCU special funding and reparations, just that revenge is on a lot of people's mind.

Easily like all liberal ideas theirs a cost benefit with policies when it comes to black people.

For example with Bernies student loan forgiveness which yes a portion of our community will benefit from theirs still racial underlying economic disparity between blacks and whites in the first place; when you consider the fact that for the large majority of our community, secondary education STILL from financial perspective isn't a option. White people financially are ahead of the curve from a racial wealth gap perspective, which has allowed them the luxury to be able to afford the opportunity to attend grad and post grad even if loans are needed. By clearing loans regardless of economic wealth status? thus will allow the racial wealth gap to further.

Sounds like college being tuitionless would ease those concerns and open up black americans to secondary education regardless of financial status. If only Bernie had that on his platform.

Oh wait, he does!

Free College, Cancel Debt

Along with a nice round figure for HBCU investment.:ohhh:seems like voting Bernie Sanders over Biden is the pro black thing to do. no wonder over 100 black scholars and writers endorsed him.

Economic well weing for Black people isn't dependent on white people.
If you are in debt you want it alleviated, you would care if a white person got the same relief?
"I'd rather drown in debt and have my credit get worse and some of my possessions repoed because if it was fixed across the board white people will get it to." <- Sorry, that's dumb. :snoop:

You don't sound like you want to help the black community.

Systemic inequality is not about matching some statisical number on a wealth gap graph. Its about addressing the systems of inequality that kept AAs from earning such wealth in the first place.

Like you pointed out, secondary education is one such way black people are discriminated out of degrees thus better jobs and better wages.

So if you're shrugging your shoulders at the opportunity to advance black people staring you in the face, I cant consider you pro black. Especially when the alternative is nothing.

Advancing black people >>> penalizing cacs wealth

Hell you can argue that they are paying when Bernie's wealth tax hits the pockets of every greedy rich cac who create inequality in america, forcing them to pay for momma's healthcare and your cousins education. Something they've been fighting tooth and nail against their whole lives.

Nobody else is offering this

At this point, some "pro black" people dont even like the improvement of black people and rather waste their energy on mini victories against racist white people, than to help their own black people. On some "I rather have everyone suffering" over "I gotta help my own black people any way I can to overcome institutionalized racism"
