Yeah, they wanted it a certain way. But it wasn't to rule with an iron fist. It was to make better gaming
Every system connected meant the cloud would help out all games.. developers could develop games knowing they could pull resources from all the connected XB1's. It would have made it so the system gets stronger by the month. It'll still happen, just at a slower rate. They have to make some adjustments
Won't be able to shine quite as bright as originally planned. But it'll still go down. And it'll still be glorious.

Taking out Kinect does not mean Kinect is dead. Kinect is not going anywhere.
Maybe you should try one out instead of talking about a system you don't really know a damn thing about.

Games like that are on the way, but there are a ton of other useful features Kinect can and does do
Battlefield 4, I lean around corners. If I don't, I get sniped when I look. Feel free to act like it don't matter

Madden, you can call plays on offense and defense. The special part about that is when you call an audible (change a play)
You have a timer, so you can't with a controller make changes at the last minute.
You ever seen Peyton Manning or Tom Brady at the line, then they make a change right before hiking the ball?
You can do that on XB1, not on PS4 or anywhere else. never gets talked about here cuz you dudes spend more time hating than seeing how its innovating

Xbox snap is a very big and useful feature. Without Kinect its not the same.
When i watch TV, I change the channel by going "Xbox, go to HBO" and it changes to that channel
I'm just giving you basic stuff its used for, and I wouldn't want to be without it.
So while you try to imagine how terrible it is in your mind, I can see how good it is with my eyes

Personally I think the Microsoft dug a hole for themselves right out of the gate. Instead of growing with videogamers they tried to dictate the market. Force feeding peripherals, confusing pre owned game stance, and dissing the hell out of the legendary 360. Then that price was just too much. So they are trying to do a 180 on everything trying to focusing on gaming but the system was not designed for that in the first place. It is an entertainment center and gaming is second. It's like trying to put a goat in the Kentucky Derby. It's underpowered and in two years it will be overwhelmed. The only reason it is still around is because the PS4 hasn't buried them in games yet.

If Microsoft is smart.....they will start working on a NEW Xbox. Don't focus on what Playstation 4 is doing and focus more on Nintendo and emulate what they are doing over there. Then try to entice more 360 owners to stay with Xbox for the next system.

Real Talk..Xbox One needs to be 300.99 to start gaining traction.

they've actually gone backwards.. there were a shytload more games and innovation on the 360 than the xone

just imagine if sony creates a little box that you hook in the usb, that takes voice commands... or just allow the headsets to do voice commands

i'm not mad, just disappointed... they had the potential to do ANYTHING.. this was the step before virtual reality and shyt... and we get fukking voice commands... every hot feature you named is a damn voice command...

edit: actually every hot feature is a xbone system or game feature.. the kinect allows you to use that feature without a controller... so really you can't even give kinect the credit cause you could easily do the same shyt with the controller
