Pats asking crazy price for him, 1st and a 4th.

I think they're aiming for mid-level teams in need of a QB with this, they're not aiming for desperate bottom of the barrel teams (Browns, 49ers, Jets, Bears) due to the fact they know they're not getting a top 5 pick for the guy.

They're aiming for that Texans, Broncos, Bills, Cardinals range as they might actually get a mid-round 1st and a 4th for the guy.

Whoever gets him has to be ready to pay him, i`d be cool with SF taking a shot for their 2nd which will be either 33 or 34, and maybe like a 5th and 6th

unless you getting belli, he's not worth it....he's another matt cassell, ryan mallot, and all other qbs not named bledsoe....by that i mean: yea, they look good in that system, but once out, they will be some shyt.....but somebody gonna take the bait cause of those first 2 games thinking he has 'potential', and trade for him...and in 2 years, they will be looking for another qb....

Only difference between him and those 2 you mentioned, he was a 2nd round pick who had a lot of peoples eyes coming out of the draft.

Mallet fell because he was trash and Cassel never was expected to be anything but a backup in the first place

I say the safer bet is he's a bust rather a star though

Seems like an unknown

The fact that Beli drafted him in a 2nd round, and he's worked under Brady means he probably isn't ass, but I haven't watched him enough to make any determinations

Anyone that gives up a 1st and 4th for an unproven commodity that they also need to pay is an idiot......But I wouldn't be surprised if the Texans do it out of desperation. They're the team that just can't get right at QB no matter what

The price sounds crazy, but to me so often these 1st rounders ain't shyt.

GM's slobber over first rounders because they're arrogant and think they're sure to get the next HOFer.

Say a team picking 16 were to make this trade this is what they would miss out on possibly

2016 - OT Taylor Decker Lions
2015 CB Kevin Johnson Texans
2014 - Zack Martin T Dallas
2013 - EJ Manuel QB Bills
2012- Quinton Coples DE Jets
2011 - Ryan Kerrigan DE - Skins
2010 - Derrick Morgan DE Titans
2009 - Larry English DE Chargers

Just going back that far, I see maybe 2 players that are legit good players. Martin & Kerrigan.

These first round picks aren't as valuable as some think

Negotiations 101: Start off with your highest offer first, then work your way down.

Pats will probably end up with a 2nd round pick, that's the highest they'll get. Highly doubt they get a 1st rounder

Browns 2nd rd pick is what they are after. Id say that and a 4th would easily do the trick. Also depends on if Mcdaniels goes somewhere they need a qb.
