Take it from me, I am a bonafide Jimmy G stan. I wanted to play his ass after that 2015 Chiefs game.

He is the real fukkin deal. His release is possibly quicker than Brady's, smooth, natural delivery, good feet, mobile, maybe only 3-4 active QB's can throw a better deep ball them him.

He'll be a top 5 QB in 5 years.

Bears trade for Garrapolo and get Sean Payton

I can see that as a possibility

If that did happen, please keep Fangio and stay out of his way for defensive matters
I actually see Chicago being a landing spot for Mike Glennon

Lmao at people thinking we wont get a 1st and a 4th. Jared Goff brought in a Truckload full of picks fresh out of college and Jimmy is better than Goff

Thank you Roger, Before this year teams wouldn't give up ONE second rounder for Jimmy. You come suspend Brady and made Jimmy G price go way up and gave us a chance to take a look at our Backup until Brady Retires Jacoby Brissett. Motivated Brady to the point where he came and basically won the MVP. Last cherry on top will be when Brady leaves you hanging while receiving that Lombardi and MVP Trophies in Houston in February.

Jared Goff also has a rookie contract to go with it. You're gonna have to pay Jimmy a ton of money for shyt he hasn't accomplished yet. Trading for Jimmy now is like when you drafted a QB first overall but had to give him a $70 mil contract with $35 mil guaranteed.

stingy ass Bears gonna spend that much?
They aren't getting that asking price.

Ryan Pace already has a trade history with Beli.

Eastern Illinois connection with Pace, Payton and Garrapolo. Pace has history in New Orleans with Payton too

I could see it going down

Do you think Watson and/or Kaaya will be better than Garoppolo?

AND, especially with Kaaya, how long are you trying to wait? Teams make moves like this because for a GM, if Garoppolo is as advertised, he'll save your job, whereas in Mike Maccagnan's case, he'll be fired before we'll ever know if he was right about Hackenberg

No one knows how Watson or Kaaya will pan out but we don't know how JG will either. I'd rather get three potential starters through the draft then trade for one unknown. If JG didn't work out it's far more damaging. If Watson or Kaaya don't or develop slower at least I may have improved my O line and defense enough to win games and keep my job.

Who's more proven:

A young quarterback who studied under a Hall of Fame QB and coach, and actually started and won a couple games in the NFL or...

A young quarterback fresh outta college who nobody knows how, if ever, he will adjust to the league.

Seems like a no brainier...the only advantage a QB in the draft has over Jimmy is age, unless you getting a can't miss prospect like Peyton etc.

How'd that work out for the teams who picked up Matt Cassell and Osweiler?:jbhmm:

Just because you backed up Brady and Manning doesn't mean you'll be anywhere near as good as them or even a competent starter.

They actually wanted Paxton Lynch, he was the top QB on their draft board. They tried trading up, but they were tryna lowball Seattle.

Jerry Jones was on record admitting to it and regretting it

Right but after he was off the board Cook was their guy but Oakland jumped ahead of them so they had no choice but to take Dak.

Jared Goff not gonna be good for another 3 years so basically if he ever becomes good you'll have to pay him as well. Jimmy will speed up the process.

If he's not gonna be good for another 3 years then he won't be good at all and that's a failed pick that you won't wind up paying. Teams aren't gonna be that patient (hell the Rams tried and all it did was make them look bad). A team like the Rams couldn't spend that much to go after Garoppolo without admitting they fukked up and if they showed that, the GM is gonna lose his job.

A team like AZ could try it since they have a team that can compete now. Everyone else is gonna really have to dislike who is out there in the draft to give up the farm for Jimmy G regardless of how good he might be. The Bills SHOULD do it but the Pats won't do that. Anyone else is either not giving up a top 10-15 selection for him OR is gonna look elsewhere for a cheaper alternative. Break it down and see that the market is only but so large. If anything the Vikings are kicking themselves right now because what they traded for Bradford would have gotten them Jimmy G.

only way I'd give a first is if it is contingent on making the playoffs, having a winning record or something. otherwise that first becomes a 2nd

Pats asking crazy price for him, 1st and a 4th.

I think they're aiming for mid-level teams in need of a QB with this, they're not aiming for desperate bottom of the barrel teams (Browns, 49ers, Jets, Bears) due to the fact they know they're not getting a top 5 pick for the guy.

They're aiming for that Texans, Broncos, Bills, Cardinals range as they might actually get a mid-round 1st and a 4th for the guy.

Whoever gets him has to be ready to pay him, i`d be cool with SF taking a shot for their 2nd which will be either 33 or 34, and maybe like a 5th and 6th

jimmy is matt cassel in 2016. I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole unless we're running some of the same shyt he did in new england
