My Pops Forever RIP
but we arent choosing between the two :mindblown:

Ive mentioned that clown flynn as an example of a qb who after showing out was coveted by many teams. even if he had a shytty college career. you turned this into some kind of competition
do you want to make a list of all qbs who have had comparable college careers as grap and ended up busts ?
Tajh Boyd, and guess who drafted him...

The fact we are asking for a first and a fourth for him shows he's the real deal.

Regardless of what ppl say the patriots rarely finesse teams on trades. Most of the time I feel like we trade players for cheap. If we're asking for a first and a fourth you know what beli thinks of him.

You're arguing with Pats fans who read the reports every day about the Patriots, that on its face is strange because you're essentially saying your conjecture >>> our research.
there is no fukking conjecture. in your words, you're arguing someone whos passionate enough about football to watch tons of film as a hobby and have followed football for well over 20 years.

your first argument in my post you quoted was the dumb 'but look at everyone else throwing picks away' :mindblown: Ive explained I wouldnt even trade a first rounder for established qb (and some qbs people consider 'top 10' qbs), much less a fukking backup

if pats think grap is brady's heir, they could do a lot of things, INCLUDING trading brady (which unlike trading a backup with two games for first+ rounders, has precedents that worked well enough), or franchising grap in 2018 effectively keeping him for two more years.

you saying grappopolo is 'clearly' better than, say, bradford, is also hilarious. grap started TWO NFL games, for one of the best franchises in the league. granted, it isnt too hard to be better than bradford, BUT to state that hes clearly better, Im sure you had to 'research' stuff, right ? :jbhmm: a lot of people were on that RGIII and Nick Foles shyt a few years back off a few games too.

team stans are always hilarious to debate with on here :heh:
at least that bucci dude doesnt hide the fact that he wants the picks pats will fleece someone for.

you have to be batshyt crazy to trade a first and a fourth for a backup qb, but people love them some middling quarter back play and pay a premium for it when its literally all over the place for much cheaper

Jimmy garraplo was a 2nd round pick coming out.

He's sat behind the goat for 3 years. This year when called upon played 2 and a half games at an extremely high level. At the time he probably was playing qb at the higher level than any other qb in the league.

So if he was already a second round pick, would learning under Brady and also going out and playing actual NFL games at an amazingly high level (although only 2 and a half games) not add to his initial second round value?

Texans desperately need a qb
Arizona could do it, because Carson is :flabbynsick:
49ers because Kaep is a backup with flash upside.
Rams, because Goff looks bad.
Jets because Fitz is gone(and also trash) and their young qb's haven't flashed anything.
Bears, because Cutler stinks.
Cleveland, because well it's Cleveland.

Lot's of places for him to go really.

Jimmy G is worth whatever the trade market dictates. Options are slim out there for starting NFL QB's, draft class is weak, and GM's are desperate to save their jobs. With the poor success rate teams have of developing a quality QB, I would not be surprised if someone gives NE what they want, and possibly more than just a 1 and 4.

I love Brady, but can't see how he plays 2-3 more yrs at this level. I think back to Kurt Warner who was also playing at a high level, but took that big hit and decided this wasn't in the cards for him anymore. I'd much rather have Jimmy waiting in the wings ready to step in Day 1 with zero doubt than Brisset, who altho he looked decent and is Black, needs some work and reps under his belt.

Jimmy would be trash without #TheSystem

And if Brady gets released and signs with the Rams, he'll be trash there too without #TheSystem

:coffee:
Yeah just like McNabb was trash with the Redskins after he left the Eagles. Reid has #TheSystem bro. You nailed it.

Take it from me, I am a bonafide Jimmy G stan. I wanted to play his ass after that 2015 Chiefs game.

He is the real fukkin deal. His release is possibly quicker than Brady's, smooth, natural delivery, good feet, mobile, maybe only 3-4 active QB's can throw a better deep ball them him.

He'll be a top 5 QB in 5 years.

I'll never forget this shyt :russ:

But yea, people comparing Jimmy G to Matt Cassell (solid backup, never a great QB) and Ryan fukking Mallett are not paying attention.
