the problem i have is short of sinking the economy so white people really start to sweat, how can they mess up? a lot of the right was gung ho on the epstein files because they figured all their favorite icons of the left would be on it as a way to dunk on the libs being pdfs, but now theyve completely ignored trying to chase them to "save the kids" and if trump is on there( i know he is) they wont even care. theyll make up some new metric to dunk on the libs

I don’t have the same vitriol and hate that most of this site has for both-ers, but at this point, I refuse to see modern maga as republicans. They’re a cult. A hivemind. I think Dems can slowly bounce back. If they focus in on primarily fixing the economy, cost of living, increasing jobs and being antiwar the DEI, LGBT, and identity politics have to go to the back burner until ya'll regain majority control.

Ya'll can't fight fire with fire. Going bar for bar with republicans and moderates not a good look IMO. I think that "When they go low we go high" mentality can work. Being the party of reason, change, and hope when prices go up, jobs decrease, and military is being deployed left and right by Republicans can win ya'll votes.

I think the epstein stuff can help but I think economy, jobs and being antiwar seeing Donald attack Iran and now maybe Venezula can be ya'll bread and butter. Then you got to frame it as wanting to see all of America coming together.

I don’t remember the politician’s name but I read something about this one guy who seemed decent enough, but as the comment clarified, he feels too conservative for the democratic base which is damning. But I think someone that could win over the young male voters and the fence sitters and regretful magatards might just win over Vance.

Not to get too Wonky here, but if we want to get into demographics - Are these young white males that listen to Joe Rogan/Theo Von going to the polls like that? But specfically

1) big numbers?
2) in battle ground states?
3) among "independents" (aka closet Republicans)

When folks try to think about elections, they think it's sort of turning the knobs and sliders like elections are similar to Facebook ad campaigns.

There’s two problems with the way Newsom’s social media interns are going about it though, the first being that half of maga is too dumb to realize they’re being made fun of, and the other half doesn’t care, and the second reason is that at this point their fire is like a dying candle light compared to maga’s flamethrower. Look at what happened with Simone Biles when she made that comment about trannies and got in a flame war with maga’s sweetheart. They came at her harder and faster and in bigger numbers than women came after his husband after that interview thing.

I actually think these podcasts are what convinces them (or some of them) to go to the polls. Same for Charlie Kirk. They convinced these guys that the reason why they’re losers is because of the dems/the left/woke and that they need to vote them out. We’ve had quite a few threads about how directionless, antisocial, and embittered a lot of young men are, and these podcasters and grifters on social media are milking the hell out of it. And the ones that don’t feed into it simply don’t vote at all which is just as dangerous now.
