It's absolutely amazing that they still haven't done the scans on his foot. Maybe his shyt is fukked up to the point where it could affect his career and they don't want the team to know it. I doubt this is the case tho as teammates said he was still explosive when he started ramping up his workouts.


However, I believe that Davis Griffin had told him early in the season to keep the "will return this season" thought alive. It was literally not possible at all for him to be ready in the start of the season or even by the new year. The team knew this from jump.

Maybe Zion wants Griffin out of there because of this, on top of all the other things. Imagine a GM telling you "dont talk about your injury, and make people believe you will play this season". I'd probably ask for a trade on the spot.

But, Zion parents have a rumor about them wanting to conceal injuries from the team and the public, so it definitely could be Zions side controlling the narrative.
