Waah said he found DMX in 1986 :damn:

Dude didn't drop til 98. Follow your dreams and persevere brehs.

Damn thats news to you? Ruff Ryders and X was cool for a long time. Even when X had his single deal if you check the credits Ruff Ryders name is there as well as Chad Elliott. shyt, even Irv have said he met X in 1988 or so. He met Jay first, X 2nd and then Rule.

X was rolling with them for a long time. Like i said, there's a picture of DMX with Dr Dre in 1993 as well as Waah & a few other cats. Death Row wanted him back then too but the deal allegedly didnt look to well for RR so it never worked out. X really freestyle and met Dogg Pound & Snoop back then too (ca 1993-1994).

Yes, it's news to me. I knew they were down with each other since forever, but I was born in 86, so that's crazy to hear and puts it in perspective.

i am talking about his run in 95

all i need remix - how high - the riddler - The progdy remix of release yo delf which was a huge record in new york

It's no wonder he blew up like he did when he finally came out. Dude was more than ready by then. Woulda been wild to see him on the same label as Pac.

Exactly. Hence why it was easy for someone like a Def Jam (even with Irv's influence) could scoop him up and take less time developing him cuz he had already been through it, was around, had been performing (performed with Leaders Of The New School for example in Brooklyn in the early early 90's), been in cyphers, been on radio shows (ie. Strectch & Bobbito etc) so like you said, it's no wonder. But there's a few other similar artist like that.

As for that, yeah maybe. I do believe that Pac was a favor to Jimmy Iovine at the time tho. I mean he was still on Interscope which Death Row was on. Kinda like Waah said about Eve when she got on Ruff Ryders, or Game on G-Unit .Stuff like that always happens.
