Exactly. Hence why it was easy for someone like a Def Jam (even with Irv's influence) could scoop him up and take less time developing him cuz he had already been through it, was around, had been performing (performed with Leaders Of The New School for example in Y.O. in the early early 90's), been in cyphers, been on radio shows (ie. Strectch & Bobbito etc) so like you said, it's no wonder. But there's a few other similar artist like that.

As for that, yeah maybe. I do believe that Pac was a favor to Jimmy Iovine at the time tho. I mean he was still on Interscope which Death Row was on. Kinda like Waah said about Eve when she got on Ruff Ryders, or Game on G-Unit .Stuff like that always happens.

Its funny how the Def Jam shyt happened...it was Dmx..Murda Mase..and Warlox...they met up with Bad Boy and Diddy took Mase and The Lox...left X and told him the world wasnt ready for his sound...Mase put X on one of his singles and another joint on his Harlem World album...Dmx got attention off that verse on 24 Hours To Live and Def Jam took notice...from there his name was buzzin like crazy and he did the joint wit LL and Diddy came to him and was like "whatever Def Jam give u I will double it"...X said fukk outta here cause u aint believe in me from the beginning...and he stayed wit Def Jam...X dropped his single...Lox put him on their single...X collabed wit Onyx n Cam n such and his album blew up and the rest is history...the PEOPLE rooted for X ultimately...he was gonna shine regardless..

Word. I knew that before too as i heard Dee i believe speak on this years ago. Ruff Ryders were really a management group at first. Them having Puff sign Lox & Mase was a trade off for them to make more connects in the biz and learn the game. That's why you saw Ruff Ryders blow the next year after Puff's album was out. It's not as uncommon as people think. That's how biz work. Everytime an artist is out there and especially if they have a industry hype it's not really that "organic" (maybe not the right word for it but i dont mean literally). I watched it happen over and over, even to TDE. I was following and a big fan from 05-06. But i definitely feel what you saying and you're right.

Hmm, weird. I have parts of that show. It mostly just shows the artists doing their show stuff, a lil bit off stage stuff including all the Cash Money & Ruff Ryders artist. The only fighting and stuff i saw in it was some random dudes fighting in the street and stuff like that. But i haven seen the whole stuff too so maybe its that.

Anybody konw where i can download this joint? Been looking for it for a while. The only parts ive seen are the parts uploaded to Youtube just last year or some shyt by a cool dude.
