Only real skill I have is artistic ability (I draw my own comic/manga, plus I can draw pretty much anything in front of me, not to mention I can write stories and scripts as well)...but no ones looking for that...I make a few bucks every now and then off of drawing and illustrating, but nothing substantial. People be wanting graphics more often (which I can also do, but to a lot lesser degree. I'm more of the pencil/pen paper type of guy)...idk maybe I should just practice more graphic shyt once I get a new laptop...:yeshrug:

check out this page; very skilled person

wait ... so them tv reporters are making in the low 30thousands, even in NY?
:ohhh: is this like where they have the top, top guys making all the money and the peeps on the bottom waiting for their big breaks? :ohhh:

Very few people make money at TV stations (I'm speaking about local stations; national networks like ESPN, CNN, etc. will pay better). The evening anchors make the big money. A lot of the reporters are part-time. Unless you have connections, you're a fool if you go into television.

DON'T DO IT. DO ****___NOT___*** DO IT.

All the media companies are "readjusting" peoples job titles and responsibilities to low-ball people even worse. It's bad enough to work for so little pay. They're only trying to make it worse.

I'm telling you. You get a job in TV and  because your main skills can't translate into anything else by TV work. :snoop:

Breh, TV is so :demonic:

And that's not even the entertainment side of things. :leostare:

All The Way One Hunnid
I've been able to help a number of Coli brehs improve their job search and land new gigs. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you want some help.
Oh, I only do this service in the AM via Skype.

So if you can't talk at like 8AM (Normal business hours) via Skype then don't bother messaging me.

My friend was at the end of her wits trying to get a job. One employer interviewed her then told her she had no experience that she should get an internship.
She being frustrated told the lady, really, you want someone who may be more advance in their skill at this job then you. Someone after a year is going to gun for your job and put you in my position now because she is hungrier than you. Instead of hiring me, becoming my mentor, teach me the real trade and will have your back and we all can eat. Thanks.

She was hired for that position and is doing really well.

I remember graduating from college and being unemployed and the job struggle. I tend to try to hire black males and older individuals, because they work better with my clientele. I don't have the drama with men like I do women when dealing with my clients. Due to my job, you HAVE to have a clean record, no way around it, state requirement. Let me say this, keep those background clean. I've had good applicants but when that background check comes back...I can't.

I think it is a sad state of affairs when I start the interview like, have you ever been arrested, have you ever been in jail, have you had a situation where you ended up in handcuffs or in the back of a police car with and without handcuffs. Are you sure, better tell me right now. Also, if you fall under the Sunshine law or can get that shyt expunged, then please do. . Because it is basically a waste of my time to interview you when I cannot hire you.
