I have so many.
I had an interview last year where the person who interviewed me didn't want to do it. When I showed up at the office he suddenly was on an overseas call. He had 2 people from the office interview me instead, after awkward questions I asked the 2 people was he going to interview me , they said no. He was expecting a white guy.
When I left I email the interviewer if I would get a follow up he said yes of course when he gets back from China. I played along and said I know you lying and I'm on your Facebook . I said I will see you again one day. Guy closed his whole account down.
Another time I had a great interview with a gallery, I was to have a follow up interview with the president of the company, on the day of the interview she emailed me come earlier. So I show up early, the secretary tells me she is stuck in traffic, my radar went up when they put in a dark closed off area instead of the waiting area. Reason being , the president was already there but didn't want to meet with me. Again expecting a white guy. We finally meet and it was over in less than 2 minutes. She didn't ask me a single question just that she was busy and would reschedule. Never heard from her again.

Wtf they straight up told you the boss was expecting a "white guy" or was this assumption? If it's the former you should have reported them. Tf.

This is why you should set your phone to record every time you deal with corporate white people.

If they ever let that shyt slip out, you have evidence to hold them accountable.

These are the same people that bytch about blacks "pulling the race card" and bytching about blacks not working, but they wouldn't hire a black person to save their life.

I always record my dealings with white people, when pulled over by a cop, in an interview, whatever.

you cant record phone calls like that depending on the state you need consent from both parties or you could get hit with wiretapping charges


depends on the state, some states you can record without the other person's knowledge but most you need their consent

Basically the same flow as OP but it was a face to face interview and when I got caught, I started sweating profusely.. I got so pissed off on the fact that dude caught me and that I was sweating buckets that I asked the dude to step outside for a fade off reflex.

Breh threw up the and had security escort me off the premises. These nikkas actually followed me in my car to make sure I left the grounds completely.

I've always shined in interviews. However, I interviewed with this black lady, she was eating Popeyes during the interview. I talked about my adjunct professor job and she wanted some I found in that. I sent her some after the interview, thinking it would help. It didn't. Like most of the interviews I have, it's immediately known that I'm smarter than you.

But one story I is kinda funny....

When I was younger. I thought I was slick one day and borrowed my dad glasses. I wanted glasses to make myself appear more intelligent and non threatening to cacs. They were prescription glass so everything as blurring and close up n shyt. I couldn't see shyt during the interview, I was stumbling, walking into chairs n shyt. I didn't get he job


All my interviews were bad tho, I really dont know how to play the game . I speak from the gut, thats why being self employed is the only way for me.

I had 3 phone interviews with corporate Burger king for an HR internship in Miami.

First two interviews, I killed them.

Then got on the line with the CFO for a case study interview.

She start asking me Accounting/Business questions in case scenarios (I hadn't even took accounting courses yet!)

her: what's the main profit lines for BK and how they can be increased

me:

her: not really...

her: if you had to start a BK with 500,000 where would you allocate costs and drive customers in?

me:

her: I was thinking more of this....

her: what would be the pricing strategies to roll out a new menu

She closed the convo talking about how important accounting knowledge is in HR

Got hit with that cross recently after getting a question wrong. You sit through the rest of the interview wondering if it's all over

Just interviewed this dude earlier and I could tell he was nervous and lying about some things. If you just be yourself and have a casual conversation you'll nail it.

Damn that's fukked up. You must have a white sounding name for them to be expecting a white guy. I have the same problem. shyts depressing.
