You don't wanna work somewhere like that anywayNeedless to say I didn't get a call back. Moral of the story: Be careful about in-house references, especially if it's someone whose not in an authority position. You never know what a person's reputation is in that company.

Basically the same flow as OP but it was a face to face interview and when I got caught, I started sweating profusely.. I got so pissed off on the fact that dude caught me and that I was sweating buckets that I asked the dude to step outside for a fade off reflex.

I had 3 phone interviews with corporate Burger king for an HR internship in Miami.
First two interviews, I killed them.
Then got on the line with the CFO for a case study interview.
She start asking me Accounting/Business questions in case scenarios (I hadn't even took accounting courses yet!)
her: what's the main profit lines for BK and how they can be increased
