I've never been interviewed for a job I didn't get.
But my offers tend to come from connections, as opposed to a paper application sent to a random employer.
They always feel more like casual conversations than some strenuous interview.
I don't have to shuck-n-jive, skin-n-grin, or any of that; I'm naturally articulate, pretty confident, and have an incredibly dry sense of humor.
Works in my favour.

Na
c spire, ticketmaster and fedex contacted me last month I didn't even call back once I heard those middle age Rump supporting as CAC's voice on my voicemail. My first name and last is CAC so that's why call.
If I brother isn't doing something in manual labor shyt becomes difficult , All I can do is work on business plan.

I have had jobs blow my phone up trying to contact me based off of my resume and name, once they see or hear that I'm black I usually get a email from HR saying they have select somebody with more qualification :comeon:

Like I said before all my interviews be with a CAC and c00n

Not gonna lie, it can be.

Thats why you better know somebody or try to start your own thing.

I remember when I didn't get hired because I wasn't "outgoing" enough. Like I wasn't smiling and dancing in the interview...

Luckily I knew a dude that was high up and he was immediately like "hire him... He's the one that taught me:gucci:"

I got some IT jobs based off knowledge in interviews but it was mainly because of my credentials that got me in. But if it was a regular job I would probably never get hired.

This..

A lot of mines are just more like talking instead of getting down to the technical shyt.

But sometimes I'm not really good with all the chit chat and want them to get to the point.

I've had to sit in rooms with like 10 ppl all asking me random shyt and studying me, trying to ask me random things. Then they put it to a vote or something in another room.

But if its a 1on1 thing Its usually very casual

A wise man once said,

Boss up or get bossed around.

If you wanna keep your balls attached to your body and dictate your own destiny while maintaining your sanity and dignity... You most likely gotta create your own path. This is the part where brothers get shook and run back to the white man and get their balls chopped off.

Time aint meant to be sold. Products and services are meant to be sold. I can capitalize off my own human capital.

America is emasculating for Black people especially men.

The fact we get up everyday and do our best work despite overwhelming, one-sided odds, is something to behold.

Not even tryna be rude, my nikka, but that statement makes absolutely no sense.

:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

this is when you are suppose to "sell" yourself
Man I used to be a bank teller and when we did the training the regional manager came in and asked why we wanted to work in banking and all these folks were in there talking bout “my great grandmother was a teller, so this runs in my blood” and “it’s always been my dream to have an impact on peoples lives”

Since I had the job already I straight up said “to take care of my family”

Everybody looked at me like :picard:
