Exactly as a black man in America you either have to be a boss, or happy to be where you are through tokenism, shucking and jiving.
Once you figure out your path it makes things a lot easier....
im 6'2'' and wear tailored suits and $400 Allen Edmonds with extensive work experience with the gov and major corporations, and some frumpy lil c00n with no work experience in my grad school got the same job I applied for over me

I work in corporate so I'm in GHOST mode All the time, Had one CAC said I was over dressed
In my case I have never seen anything other than a Male CAC as a Corporate IT manager
