Job intetviews are only emasculating when you have no skills and/or resume. Interviews for me are 15 minute brag sessions of my accomplishments. Not emasculating in the least.

I think Indians are the toughest...

Most Indians in my experience automatically assume you're dumb and unqualified. The first gen Indians anyway.

Everyone else has been a mixed bag. I kill all my interviews though, so I know it's not me.

I've never been interviewed for a job I didn't get.
But my offers tend to come from connections, as opposed to a paper application sent to a random employer.
They always feel more like casual conversations than some strenuous interview.
I don't have to shuck-n-jive, skin-n-grin, or any of that; I'm naturally articulate, pretty confident, and have an incredibly dry sense of humor.
Works in my favour.
