Just had an interview two weeks ago. I knew more about the company's history than the two cacs interviewing me.

I thought I was showing initiative. Cac got visibly upset (you know the face cacs make when they get caught not knowing something).

Didn't get the job. Wasn't qualified

Took it as a sign from God. I'mma stay where I'm at and get my business off the ground because I'm done interviewing with cacs.

I don't look at things through white or black. I don't have the time or the energy to think about why I didn't get the job. I really don't care. I'm automatically on to the next.

If i didn't get a job it was because I didn't have the technical knowledge. I Kill my interviews all the time esp when it comes to behavior or panel interviews.

But at the time I've learned to only apply for jobs that I actually qualify for. If you have over 3 years experience in a certain field you should be getting offers back to back with some rejects in between

anyhow, im not disagreeing with anyone, only you know your experience and who else to better speak on it??? I agree with majority of these responses...im going thru it right now...was an allstar at my place of work, great with end users, technical skills was off the wall, response time was unmatched... always getting good reviews and ratings from end users which was said directly to my boss/manager but somehow someway these dudes decided to terminate my position or so they claim.....and now im back on the hunt....im experiencing alot of what its being said in here....shyt really got me thinking of how much i dont want to work for anyone ever again.. got me thinking bout investing and some other things music related but being that those dont come overnight i gotta tend to these interviews because my family gotta eat. Ive attended a few interviews where i was questioned about my skills and experience, laid it out for them, did all the right things but in the end i never got the job which i knew i was qualified for...but mot importantly i was going to be an asset, not just another nikka working to get a check, i give presence to department and the users love my work ethic. Im far from a slouch or noob. I get shyt done and with high satisfactory marks.

9/10 we are interviewing with some cac we know isnt going to hire us no matter how qualified we are or well we interview, but still have to come in skinning and grinning. We bascially have to be Barack Obama to even have a shot at a nice job, but even then we might get passed up for some cac who is half as qualified.

I work with a number of black employees in my company. None of them are Barack Obama.
