Maui has it's fair share of some idiots who think he's coming to take their land because they can't read well. Then there's a handful of Native Hawaiians that don't want any help from the feds (because of the overthrow of the monarchy, so I get that) and we're outside of the venue yesterday waving upside down Hawaiian flags.

Maui people don't understand that the $700 one-time check is a FEMA standard. You fill out a bunch of forms to get cash vouchers to replace what you lost. That can be tens of thousands.

While i do agree with you... our entire govt is ass backwards because they literally SEE our country funding a war in the billions with our tax dollars overseas and yet everybody at home gets peanuts... it's not a good look... no one voted for our tax dollars to be used to fund wars...
