when i supported him in 2020, there was an underlying sentiment that the 4 year term would be it. one and done, if he won. im having a harder and harder time supporting him running again in 2024, when newsom would take on trump just as well

I completely agree with Kamala being a horrible choice. I agree that he should step down considering his age but at the moment there is no other viable candidate. Newsom already made it a point that he isn't running. Democrats have no one to blame but themselves for this but with that said, Biden is a 100x better than anyone on the authoritarian right. I'll take a neoliberal milquetoast senile old man who makes frequent gaffes over ANYONE the Republican party has to offer.

When it comes to our current political situation its best to take your emotions and personal aspirations out of it. The most pragmatic approach currently is to give Biden another 4 years and to push younger (and more likeable) candidates who can take the mantle come 2028.

If Trump wasnt running again, Biden probably wouldn't be running. They think he's the only candidate that can beat Trump. And they're probably right.

I don’t know who are the best options besides those two so it’s whatever lol. It’s just funny seeing people call one guy old like the other ain’t old as well.
