I'm going to be honest as a black woman.

While I'll be voting for the ticket, I think this is a bad pick. Kamala excites practically no one and she comes off as not very genuine. Being "likeable and relatable" is important in national politics and she just doesn't check that box.

I was annoyed by all the "he needs to pick a black woman" talk. Pandering will get you no where thus Joe was a fool to box himself in the way he did.

We shall see come November.

The bolded isn't true, I don't think. I'm not a fan, but: Exclusive: Kamala Harris leads Elizabeth Warren and Susan Rice in new VP poll

She was leading in the "Best VP pick" polling all the way through. That's just one example. People like her. Just not here.

This board is not in the mainstream politically, which isn't an insult, but is definitely true. A lot of the criticism of Kamala here isn't going to land with typical party voters. They like her.

She’s never given an explanation for her decision and Mnuchin later donated $2,000.00 to Harris’ campaign. It was his only donation to a democratic candidate.

:stopitslime:
I'm not a lawyer, specially not a banking regulation lawyer, so I won't talk about that.

But
1. Breh think people risk their career for 2k :mjlol:
2. Between 1995 and 2014, he donated over $120,000 to political organizations, PACs, politicians, and political parties. His contributions to candidates included 11 donations to Republicans and 36 donations to Democrats.

Other that that, a lot of the shyt in the article is not black or white.
She didn't say nobody should investigate police shootings or wear body cam, she said it's best handled locally by the district attorney's office and the local police, not the AG. As they knew the city, structure of the police force and on and on. And I would also assume that it's a budget question, LAs DAs office sending 10 lawyers is better than the AG sending 2 and shyt like that.

But they are making it sound like she was against those things.

Basically the whole article is written as a hit piece, leaving out facts, words and on. Most likely to put pressure on Biden to pick whoever the newspaper endorsed.

Barak Obama pulls the strings in the Democratic Party. She was his choice from jump make no mistake. Don’t ever forget she’s the “best looking attorney general in the country”.....
:francis:
Nah Obama would have wanted Susan Rice
Only argument against Harris was the fact that she shytted on Joe in the primaries and the fact that she is getting a hell of a come up off this VP choice.
She is essentially being primed to be President in 2024.

Breh polls don't mean shyt to me. Hillary was supposed to stomp all over Trump according to the polls and despite her indeed winning the popular vote, we know how that turned out.

This is a post from someone who doesn't understand polling because the 2016 polls were right. Trump's win was within the margin of error.

You can ignore reality if you want, though. I prefer using statistics to feelings when I make a statement about something like this.

i figured after all the BLM protests she wouldn't be picked cuz her history was a bit too controversial

That’s why she was picked

Trump is gonna run on white people fear to get those rust belt swing voters and say that black people and antifa are gonna come to burn your house down and that Biden is just a puppet for the far radical left.

the pick of Kamala pretty much stops that card from being used

Crazy to me. Just seems like trump supporting bullshyt. yall would have shytted on everyone he picked.

I seen threads up here shytting on every single person that could have been his VP from michele obama to cory booker to elizabeth warren to stacy abrams
