This thread is a pristine example of why Democrats always lose elections. :ohlawd:
You’re becoming a broken record and reflective of why nothing progressive ever happens. Your entire take on 2016 was to be shook forever. (This is BarNone making this post.) I’ve been lurking and watching you say this over and over.

you're just highlighting how ridiculous the comparison is. we have ample evidence of how these men spent their entire lives. sanders, opposing racism and injustice. biden, enforcing racism and injustice.

the fact you're trolling this thread is disgusting. :scust:
You've been trolling the entire sub for the better part of 3 years. If you don't sit your sensitive ass down or actually engage in normal discourse.

Until then, I'm going to give you the same energy you're putting out. :bartermad:

No problem. Joe Biden's record and behavior disqualify him from being the Democratic nominee for president. His history of losing badly in primaries is another reason. Name recognition and being near Obama will fade in importance in the coming months.

Seriously, it's like, "OK, we get it dude." :gucci:
But still offers no evidence that a robust debate in primaries leads to loss in the general. :francis:

Joe Biden is old and out of touch and represents a different era in this country. Despite how off-putting his policies are for millenials I don't see them ruffling many feathers with those who support him - - particularly baby boomers and the silent generation. Those two groups also happen to make up a very large portion of the dem voter base and I believe the majority of primary voters - - historically.

If you don't want him to win the nom then young voters need the same types of turnout they saw in 2018 midterms.

The part of your approach I find interesting is the obsessive focus on why not to vote for Biden instead of why to vote for Bernie. Especially because this was and still is your major criticism of Hillary (vote for me and not Trump) and for the establishment (you have to vote for us because Republicans are worse).

The 35+ age group and voters who prefer someone who can beat Trump will help Biden and it is precisely those groups that liberals tend to ignore because they assume they can get more younger and discouraged voters. It works in caucuses but in larger states the groups that vote most frequently are important. I think they really downplay a significant portion of the voter base that wants someone who can beat Trump and I don't think Biden's past especially with the crime bill will dissuade a large portion of those voters.

Yep, don't know how I could possibly choose. :mjlol:

2020 isn't the time for doing better than joe biden. 2020 is the time for doing better than donald trump
You're acting like Trump is some nearly unbeatable juggernaut and not one of the most unpopular presidents in history who barely squeezed by in the last election despite facing one of the most unlikeable Dems in history.

And then you're doubling down on Biden being some heavyweight and not the creepy guy who has been laughed out of the running in two previous tries and who has a policy platform that excites basically no one at all.

Even if Biden does win, he's going to push the same bullshyt policies that disillusioned voters before and got Trump elected in the first place. Things were fukked up as hell to get Trump elected in 2016...how is electing Biden going to make them any better by 2024? Why won't that just end up leading us to Trump Round 2?

Numbers don’t lie.

Bernie n Liz are DONE.

Claiming that poll numbers are conclusive in fukking May is just ignorant.

In June 2015 the top Republicans in order were Bush, Walker, Carson, Rubio, Huckabee, and Ron Paul. NONE of them would end up in the final three. Trump and Cruz were trading places in 7th/8th with 5% of the respondents each.

In fall 2008 Obama was still 50 points behind Clinton just a couple months before the primaries started.

u do realize biden's history of racism blows Trump's out the water?

I ain't no Biden fan but claiming he has a history of racism even close to matching Trump is just ignorant.
