Then this country, and all marginalized folks in it are doomed. The left isn’t anyone’s savior, but that option at least bides it’s time, a Republican majority in this climate, with a Supreme Court majority, lolololololol, “no vote” team and both siders are gonna suffer with uss progressives just the same, they just too chickenshyt to put up a fight. Unfortunately, this is the nature of politics. You got to give people a reason to go out to vote for you. The Biden administration, Imo is fukking up with optics. A lot of people feel inflation right now, in everything, should be of the highest priority. People don't care about process of government. All they see is 5-7 dollar gallon of gas depending where you live, groceries going up, but then see Biden on TV saying with enthusiasm we are sending 40 billion of our dollars over the Ukraine and it appears he thinks most people are as enthused about that as he is. Then they seem to still approach covid, politically like it's 2020 when people are not there mentally anymore.
The messaging of this administration makes it appear to the average voter they don't give a fukk or out of touch.
Democrats have to remember, money and economic issues will always, always without exception be the most important issue to voters. No one is trying to hear anything else while that is an issue. Sadly, the consequences of a bad government in this particular point in history is what you stated. That's why they need to be more on the ball with the economic situation and not trying to say "Oh too bad, it's Putin fault" like they keep trying to do with the inflation issue even though it was an issue before the Ukraine Invasion.
They are fukking up and it's going to fukk us.
