And that's a fact now. :manny:

One of his only selling points was that he'd help down ballot races. He did not. :manny:

One of his only other selling points was that black and Latin voters would prefer a moderate. They did not. Trump gained support from those groups since 2016. :manny:

But the party will learn nothing from this, Biden will eat the blame for the economic downturn and mass virus death, and Democrats will lose very, very badly in the 2022 midterms, despite the fact they'll be telling us it's "the most important election of all time." Kamala loses to that guy with the eyepatch in 2024.

So your theory is that black and latinx people voted for Trump because Biden isn't progressive enough? I'm not connecting the dots here

That was the danger of running an only "anti-Trump" campaign instead of "the GOP needs to go, and we need *insert policies* in place" campaign. Get rid of Trump and replace it with what? A lot of voters are perfectly fine with getting rid of Trump, but keeping Republicans in the Senate. :manny:

If a progressive Democrat got these results - Win the White house, lose seats in the House and didnt flip the Senate - you would never hear the end of how terribly they performed. You would never hear the end of how "socialist" policies ruined a great chance to have House, Senate, White House. There isnt a person out there that voted for Biden that wouldnt have voted for Warren in a General election this year.

This dude Biden was too scared to even promise to expand the Supreme Court and they wonder why they couldnt get enough support to win the Senate. :dead:

Cant complain too much because my candidate (Warren) got eviscerated in the primaries because too many centrists want republican support instead of "those scary socialists in my own party". Im happy we got the white house. Its an incredible feat to unseat an incumbent but I think Trump was the driving force, not so much Biden.
Trump did everything-fukking-thing-catastrophically-wrong for 4 years and got 7 million more votes than he did in 2016. He got the 2nd most votes of any president in political history and he basically told MAGAs not to vote by mail. He was the driving force of both parties.

Congrats to Biden/Harris though.

Above the fray.

Are you making this up as you're typing?
What is going to push Biden over the top appears to be voters in PA.

Trump carries the state in 2016, and part of what Biden brought to the table was that he was more relatable to voters in key states. Trump's "Us" and "them" tactics were neutralized with Biden as his opponent.

What basis do you say that she would/could have carried PA?

Bernie couldn't even beat Biden how would he have beat trump :dahell:
Bernie, Biden, Warren all would have beaten Trump. Trump drove this election. Most Dems wanted Joe to "not screw up" when he spoke. He was not some Godsend of a politician. What person that voted for Biden would not have voted for Bernie or Warren over Trump? Especially since Dems wouldnt have had those long line waits to change their mind about voting. We go through this every time a centrist gets in office. We trick ourselves into thinking we have to run a centrist to win. We dont. Those deep blue areas that won the election have more in common (policy wise) with Bernie and Warren than Biden.
