Bernie, Biden, Warren all would have beaten Trump. Trump drove this election. Most Dems wanted Joe to "not screw up" when he spoke. He was not some Godsend of a politician. What person that voted for Biden would not have voted for Bernie or Warren over Trump? Especially since Dems wouldnt have had those long line waits to change their mind about voting. We go through this every time a centrist gets in office. We trick ourselves into thinking we have to run a centrist to win. We dont. Those deep blue areas that won the election have more in common (policy wise) with Bernie and Warren than Biden.

Bernie was running against the entire democratic establishment. Then he had to go against Warren. If Biden won the nomination, the only way he loses is if the DNC and other centrist democrats failed to educate voters on his policies.
Bernie hates doing politics. His problem.

Warren was insignificant in the grand scheme of things. The DNC and the Democratic Party as a whole, did everything they could to undermine and stop Sanders going back to the last election. Not just sanders but the entire progressive movement. They endorsed opponents of progressives even if they were incumbents.

Older democrats were dissuaded from supporting Sanders over fear he would lose. The DNC has been pouring cold water on the progressive movement for years. It is what it is. Sanders wasn't going to be the nominee no matter what.
Warren was peaking then even the media started attacking her. Stop pretending only Sanders got attacked by MSM.

I didn't even bring up the media... which is biased.... but since you went there..... yeah... the media plays a big role in who gets elected.

Bernie is not beating trump :hhh:

the moment Bernie supports BLM people like Joe Rogan who he relies on, would switch to Trump and black people wouldn’t show up for Bernie anyway

Uncertain grounds
Why couldn't Bernie beat Biden in Michigan Wisconsin PA of he was the one for the party :gucci:

Bernie beat hillary there did that make him a better candidate? :ld:

Either way that's neither here nor there I'm not trying to relitigate 2016. We're past that

Point is candidates form different coalitions. Because one isnt better suited for a primary doesnt mean they arent better suited for a general election

Whatever milquetoast moderates he picked up in middle PA would have been exchanged for an even more fired up suburb/inner city. He doesnt even need PA as of right now. Like I said, this election was driven by Trump and deep blue regions so the "Us" vs "Them" tactic worked, just so happens it was more of "them" than "us" (from his perspective)
Bernie couldn’t fire up the inner city in the primaries

So your theory is that black and latinx people voted for Trump because Biden isn't progressive enough? I'm not connecting the dots here
The down ballot races didn't go well. Biden was supposed to help them. He didn't. That's the story.
Turnout was high. Your conclusion operates under the theory that high turnout means more liberal voters.

We now know that isn't a fixed truth.

The country isn't as liberal as you all want it to be. :ohhh:
