Pusha T's last 2 albums were both critically acclaimed and Grammy nominated. Last 2 albums debuted at #3 and #1 on the Billboard 200. Jim Jones was and still is on Love and Hip Hop and his last album from 2019 debuted at #114 on the Billboard 200.

It just sounds like hating on your part to try and dismiss Pusha T or even compare him to Jim Jones. Push is still very much relevant in rap. Obviously he's not Drake Cole or Kenny level but he factors in.
Push more relevant than Jim but neither is relevant to the point where their “beef” resonates beyond a few social media posts

Also pusha going number one with his last album that had a highly anticipated Jay verse, the so called return of the clipse, Kanye controversial ass, and it being his first album since the drake beef is why. He not doing a top five album again without a similar roll out which is also why he likely didn’t even waste time responding to Jim. Pusha is smart but tbh he loses and that’s fine nobody cares

Daytona was #3 so it's not unusual to say that 2 top 5 Billboard 200 albums in a row the next one couldn't do that.

Jay-Z also doesn't charge for features but only does them with artist he wants to so that feature was because of who he was. It's not even the first time Jay hopped on a track with him either.

Because It’s basically the blueprint to the modern black male podcast in terms of style set up and format.
Who followed his blueprint? Wheres his Shanahan coaching tree?

We're really giving Joe innovator credit for having four or five people in a room that rarely know what they're talking about and make it a point of pride to be confidently wrong?

I can see the vision: George Washington Carver, Benjamin Banneker, and... Joe Budden for his contributions to dusthead communications. fukk outta here.

This is the dumbest most uneventful rap beef ever.

Are we really trying to act like this matters or that anything exciting or interesting happened here?

Are they that desperate for a story to blabber on about?

Push is preparing an album and supposedly a clipse reunion album. He’s not going to beef with Jimmy for free when he can get paid for it. He’s going to respond on the album.

If Joe Budden put his responses to beef on albums instead of random freestyles he probably would still have a rap career.
Said this from the beginning. Push is going to treat Jim Jones like Drake treated Joe. Drop a few bars on the album to get him in his feelings then go back to whatever he was doing lol. Jim will get mad, drop more diss tracks, drop more music videos and go on another podcast promo run acting like he's unbothered (while getting emotional and threatening violence). At that point, Jim would just look desperate to keep responding. I highly doubt Push gets into a full diss battle unless Jim mentions his wife.

Daytona also was rolled out by static ass Kanye who also was rolling out his own album and collab with kid cudi the same time ALSO around the release of drake album too. It was a coordinated manuever. Pusha without these incidents or bigger names around his release isn’t a top three album artist hence all his albums before the last two lol.
