West Indians love to party and have fun. My parents will blast Soca throughout the house when they have a day off, or even while cooking. So I know how Carnival time is like.

Nothing problematic with what he said. It is apart of Caribbean culture. What it sounds like he meant was women who are not apart of the culture that do it just for the purpose of attention/thotting which is true.

yep...some of these chics are the female equivalent of nikkas hitting the streets jouvert morning just to act a complete fool w/ no respect/regard for the culture...that being said I’m not complaining about these chics dressing up and showing out lol...dude just kicked some real truth and folks ran w/ it

Yeah, and I doubt Joe particularly has an issue with it either, considering the women he's been with tend to be women who show more skin than your average lady. I'm not sure how the conversation came up since I didn't listen to the podcast episode, but I doubt it was anything remotely as serious as what these IG pages are making it out to be.
Nobody's gonna call Rihanna a hoe for dressing up in Carnival attire, because she's from there and always reps back home. What she does after she gets there though, that's her business.
But at least she's a part of the culture, so she has an excuse. Let Kim Kardashian come down and do the same thing, and you'd see how different the tone would be.
