I don’t necessarily disagree with Joe but he is also wrong in some sense. When people play Mas at carnival there is a spiritual side of it that traces it roots back to slavery. It is a very freeing experience to just be amongst the people and celebrate. Nothing like being amongst the people just celebrating life.

On the flipside you do get some non carribean instagram hoes and chicks trying to live out their stripper fantasies that use carnival as an excuse to get naked. It is what it is.

He ain’t talking about carribean women or those from there who live abroad now who are part of the culture. He’s taking about the same hoes that take trips two to three trips to the island within the year to get dug out and get a train ran on them like white girls. He also talking about the girls that go to the carribeans strictly for the “party” atmosphere.
