its a real album
it made me think of what stevie wonder said... isn't it crazy that some of the best jazz elements of the decade are on a hip hop album? Like how is this even possible
Yeah its an amazing album but lets not forget most of those aesthetic choices were made by session musicians, not Kendrick himself.
it was confirmed twice today that the songs are indeed not finished, and they're not mastered at all.
Ceelo was also surprised to see that his part was still intact, he thought they were gonna mix it, but nop...and soundwave said they wanted to rework them but kendrick refused...
Tde thinking about working on it for the physical release though

Dot is on some other shyt right now. I think ever since O.D he has been on this creative roll that I definitely didn't see coming during the Kendrick Lamar EP days.
Section 80, GKMC, TPAB and shyt even U.U all have this great sound to them. A lot of top artists nowadays can't really make cohesive all the through albums but Kendrick has done it with ease with his past 3.

i thought the album was cool but i prefer Section 80 and GKMC. eventhough it's another genre sorta, i also prefer Venice from anderson.paak. R.A.P. Music was also better IMO. i'm not even hating on dude. glad to see people enjoy his music. I actually fukk with a few songs on TPAB. I just don't hear what everyone else is hearing but still good for him.

I feel like tpab is his best album, quality wise... but its like my second favorite after section 80
