That doesn’t change that Game has been more successful musically since their split
No. Game ruined everything

$10s of millions in investment were lost because of him
$100s of millions of dollars in potential earnings from what was going to be the made from the resulting tour that he inevitably derailed - including Detox, Up In Smoke Tour Part 2

A lot of people don’t realize that the Up In Smoke Tour was Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Cube, even Xzibit, Warren G as openings acts

All these albums were essentially meant to be the product launch of the biggest tour ever with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Cube, maybe Xzibit, Warren G as openings acts but now with 50 Cent, G-Unit

Think of everything that happened right at the point that all this blew up in their face, he destroyed the synergy of the label

Eminem went from the Eminem show to Encore
50 Cent went from The Massacre to Curtis and got outsold by Kanye, which would’ve never happened if Game played his role uplifting the whole movement and offering west coast co-sign while being a notable star in his own right. Both brands were meant to contribute to each other and produce synergy

Game set forth the events and diminishing returns leading to Jimmy Iovine graduating from the music industry, leaving Interscope behind to his children (essentially) and utilizing his Apple golden parachute money to entrench himself in the educational philanthropy industry

If the Game played the role that he was cast for, literally cast for Interscope would be everything in music. If they denied their catalog to Spotify or Apple Music, negotiations would need to take place or they could launch their own platform

Basically, Game ruined more than you can imagine

But sure, he showed up at a few studio sessions, set his Mr potato head character into the formulaic cookie cutter song productions that he’s airdropped onto and he was the creative spearhead of projects that became products of varying and mild success based on ability to plug into residual aspects of the machine that he was meant to be a significant role player at

His first album sold 5 million. All derivative success. Literally Dr. Dre lending his brand power to him. Literally the top music artist

For context, it’s like if Madonna and Britney Spears personally ushered Lady Gaga into musical stardom, making significant investments in time, brand, creative efforts

All for Lady Gaga to turn on them

This is the reason that people in the Hollywood industry hated Dave Chappelle, when so much is put into the building of a brand. They are essentially building a revenue stream that contributes to the livelihoods of many people that are employed specifically for the production of that media people lost their jobs. People connected to other people lost their jobs people that use their connections to get these people these jobs were all slighted by the sudden diva departure that screwed everything up

Sometimes you gotta think of things beyond just the creative product you’re delivered as a fan, these people were put in really great positions and absolutely massacred the efforts of everyone around them

I think fans are too attached to someone’s personality like they wanna be friends with them. Game has the best music from the group. Him & Banks are the best.

Maybe you don't remember just how big that 1st album was. He hasn't come close to matching the success of that or the singles that came w/ it since
Easy to over look the first album and the hype and sales around it. Hate it or love was on the radio for like 3 yrs.
