once this virus was politicized and science took a back seat to partisanship, that opened the door for people that wanted to do whatever the hell that they wanted without feeling alone in their selfishness.
long term effects are being discovered as the months go on, but people seem to think that the covid is all about life or death. That is where the issue lies. The argument is people aren’t dying. That shouldn’t be the threshold. The future will show how covid really leaves its victims.
What do you expect people to do once they realize this thing basically takes out the weak?

people do know something, this virus is highly contagious, airborne and remains alive on surfaces.
places in the world that have beaten this shyt all have done similar things, mandatory masks and some form of lockdown for a set period of time. That’s not political. It becomes political when a particular political party ignores the science and says not to do shyt that has been proven to be effective in stopping the spread in other parts of the world.

Damn near half of my friends had this shyt, only one felt worse than a normal flu. Which meant he was in bed for 4 days with fever.
