btw I don’t fukk with the podcast anymore so this is not some stan shyt...this is just good old-fashioned sense...I retired early and have to pay for my own health insurance as a result...small business owners have to do the same, etc.

I know a decent amount of people that own small businesses, are independent contractors, or just do a bunch of side hustles to live that don't have health insurance. A lot of people that grow up poor don't value going to the hospital that often since we were brought up with the mindset of only hitting the hospital in absolute emergency situations. It's not a given that dude has health insurance. Plus a lot view health insurance as a rip off or waste of money and that they'll come out ahead by just paying when they only have to go. So I wouldn't be totally shocked if Joe didn't have it.

like the assets Spotify wanted in the 360 deal. the culture show and the pull up. he's getting paid more for both than the pod ever paid him and he has been clear about this. to the tune of millions. State of the culture is bankrolled by revolt tv production.

OR Joe was exaggerating how much he was making on those platforms as a negotiating ploy to try to get Spotify to up their offer. The logic him even making more off the Pull Up makes no sense. It's only sponsor as far as I see is Cash App who is sponsoring the pod as well so it's probably one big package. It's airing on youtube only so no TV network is paying him from them. For SOTC it ain't generating near enough ratings for him to be making millions off of that shyt. If that show was such a hit they'd be on every damn week and not filming short ass seasons every couple of months. If the Pull Ups were generating millions why wouldn't they just make the pod as a youtube exclusive or a show on Revolt since it's his most popular property and could turn those "millions" into hundreds of millions considering the volume of episodes they do? Joe was talking out his ass on how much he makes for those other entities. If he was he'd be going way harder just trying to grow those since they're a lot less work according to him.

no he has spoken about those other deals before any negotiations were on and that is a stupid tactic. plus television contracts are not hidden. you realize they have a show with a production budget and the talent is paid well including him to the tune of millions. the state of culture deal was inked when he was hanging out with puffy a lot with a big announcement around the time he left complex...

the pod was supposed to generate most income from their profit share on spotify which was then taken off the table but they still snuck in cash app and got a cheque for it before they left.

if he took all his assets to revolt that would be the same as taking all his assets to spotify... my dude the whole point is diversified income not being enveloped under one massive contract. keep up.

No it’s not the death rate is lower than March

by percentage its less because they know how to treat it better and there is more access to testing than there was at the start. However, a thousand ppl dying from this shyt per day should not be downplayed.

The virus isn't going 0-60 in one week killing all the infected, nah, it's prolonged turmoil and suffering. These numbers will catch up, untreated cases that get worse will lead to more deaths because hospitals are reaching capacity again in every region.

I been telling everybody around me, do not fukk with this shyt. Isolate with your ppl as much as you can because it's only going to get worse. But mfs want to play like the US didn't report 90,000 cases yesterday. I'm willing to bet that 75% of this board has preexisting conditions that they may not have known about, and catching COVID with the possibility of also catching the flu is not something most ppl want to fukk with.
