Does Budden ever talk about whether or not Drake writes any of his stuff?

Not since last year. All he said was "it doesn't matter because the reason people respect Drake as an artist isn't because of his hits", after the reference tracks.

I said "yeah, but nobody took the podcast seriously on here". And they didn't. When the podcast came out people were ridiculing him left and right. As weird as it sounds there seems to be a lot more people on this site lately giving him his props as an mc, before I really used to post and just skimmed the board it always seemed like there were a few Budden fans who would constantly get shyt on because of his corny behaviour lol...not sure if it's the drake haters wanting Joe to roast him on a track or if it's the podcast antics giving him more exposure...either way it's good I guess

His forming of Slaughterhouse is the reason more people give him credibility now. Ppl who liked bars and wanted to check Royce and Crook, had to check verses from Joe and Ortiz too. Joe the weakest in the group, but he hangs and people see it. The subject content on his solo shyt from MM3 onward isn't always something ppl want to hear on the daily, as it can be a bit emo and too girl drama driven. I just can not fault a head for curving him because of this, despite wanting to put people onto him.
