Nickelus F was helping him out on "Comeback Season" though. :mjlol:

And wrote a verse on "So Far Gone", uncredited. That's straight out of his mouth.

Interview: Nickelus F Talks Exterminator Day Job, Discovering Portishead, & Writing For Drake

And Hush is credited on 75% of dude's rap songs.

TAKE CARE LINER NOTES CONTROVERSY: WHO IS A. PALMAN?! « Kanye West Forum

Nevermind QM. Nevermind Mo-G.

So why would anyone give him the benefit of the doubt?

Fred.

From the article you posted:

Complex: Did you cut any records for So Far Gone?

Nickelus F: Nah, I had went up there a few times and we had studio sessions. Most of our work was via email. I went up there for the "Replacement Girl" video shoot and went up there another time just to kick it and what not. But as far as So Far Gone, he did send me a record but it didn't end up making it on the project.

Complex: Have you ever helped him with a verse?

Nickelus F: Yeah, I've contributed. I'm a team player. I won't say I wrote a verse that he spit verbatim, but I've contributed. I helped out with the hook on "City Is Mine" the hook on "Overdose On Life." I didn't do anything on the verse at all.

Complex: So anyone who says, "Nickelus F writes for Drake" would be mistaken?

Nickelus F: Yes. Have I done work here and there? Yes I have. Do I write for him on a regular basis? No. Have I written for him on a regular basis? No.

Complex: But you have written for him before?

Nickelus F: Verses?

Complex: Yeah.

Nickelus F: Yes, I have done a verse. Not a bunch of verses. I have helped out with hooks and one verse in particular. But I don't write no verses for him.

Complex: What was that one verse in particular?

Nickelus F: I don't want to say! [Laughs].

Complex: Was it well known?

Nickelus F: Yeah, it's well known. I don't know if I necessarily want to put that out there. That's my homie at the end of the day.

Complex: Could you say what project it was on?

Nickelus F: Yeah, but it would kind of give it away.

Complex: Wayne spit a Drake verse at the Grammys. People know Wayne writes his shyt, just like people know Drake writes his shyt. If there's a verse that he spit that's yours, or that you helped him with, it's not going to be like, "Oh my God! Drake doesn't write anything because Nickelus F wrote one verse for him."

Nickelus F: Well, it was on the So Far Gone retail version. I'll just say that much. I don't want to say what song.

Interview: Nickelus F Talks Exterminator Day Job, Discovering Portishead, & Writing For Drake

So, him saying he wrote 1 verse on So Far Gone.....and nothing else, ESPECIALLY not Comeback Season like I said, means to you he wrote for Drake all the time. Even though "thats straight out of his mouth" (right?:mjpls: ) you're claiming he wrote on a project when he HIMSELF has said he's only 1 wrote verse for Drake which was on the SFG retail version:comeon:

Where's any proof that he wrote on Comeback Season?:jbhmm:

Heh.

Nothing wrong with this, he's just continually poking at the nikka on the platform that his stans use to win "battles" for him by proxy. :troll:

Have Drakes fans/marketing team created any anti-Joey memes yet? :troll:

Since Drake is too shook so far maybe they can battle Joe on his comments :troll:

I'm :dead: at me being a Budden stan. Did you suffer a massive head injury since the last thread? I don't fukk with Budden at all. Never even gave either diss any props, either.

You dudes just hop on here and type whatever pops into your head, reality be damned.

Fred.

The irony Fred....the irony:wow:

You just posted an article where Nickleus F has said "straight out his mouth" he's only ever wrote 1 verse for Drake, and that verse is on the SFG retail version, but yet you claimed:

I'm :dead: at you completely ignoring Hush got a writing credit on most of Drake's rap songs though. Every song you see A. Palman credited, is Hush. You think he's just there for moral support?

Buddens disses were lyrically very good. 1st one was way too lengthy but the 2nd one spoke real truth about why nikkas don't fukk with him inside the industry and listeners who see through him. The thing is, in reality for much of the masses, nobody gives a fukk about Joe Buddens. Most fans of Hip Hop are just excited to see someone go in on Drake lyrically with quality execution. The downside is, it's going to come and go because Joey just doesn't have the star power to move the conversation further into mass exposure. Drake won't respond because he doesn't have to. Yes, at one point he really looked up to Joe and Buddens came correct on his disses but he's just too small to warrant a response from Drake. Plus, Buddens didn't really expose anything crazy that all of us didn't already know. Meek exposed something huge and Meek is also a popular rapper with a girlfriend who is just as popular as Drake so it drew the attention it needed to get the world to pay attention. It's nothing Joe can do and honestly this makes him look dumb as fukk. It's like you did all that only to say you're rooting for him now? What kind of shyt is this? This is just going against everything you just did.

In his mind, in a twisted way, I think he's trying to prepare him for what Jay may try to do to him since going at Jay and getting moved on in the process (lyrically and business wise) was his downfall.

nikkas can say I'm paranoid but out of Drake's own mouth he's got "higher ups" and OG's trying to expose him and end his run, partially because he signed with and reinforced the old guard of the music industry when he rode off with Iovine to Apple.

That whole views rant was predicated on Joey saying that Meek was a pawn being used to distract him and that Jay is going to catch him slipping because of it.

Not the actual verses....not the bars that we go :banderas::whoo::whew: over. But the "Hook" was ghostwritten so we have a problem breh?:heh:

Did Hush write on Comeback Season? Because I don't see Hush or A. Palman credited on the "Views" track and the "Views" track sounds similar to Comeback Season Drake:mjpls:

In reality, IF Hov ever to really decide to give Drake the business forreal....there is nothing Joey can do to prepare him. Budden got all lyrical but Hov' is way more clever, he's a titan in music and he's really Drake's mentor. Jay will give him a sonning that will damage him internally and externally through the perception of the masses. I honestly think Jay has been trying to show restraint with Aubrey for the past 3 years and doesn't want to do it do him, but he's been asking for it. If he really takes his time and dedicated a whole diss, not some slick jabs spread out over a few songs, he'll be on god level.

If you can't see he was flustered I don't know what to tell you. This was 5 years before it was common knowledge Drake had help. He was too shook to even say what song the verse was on.

But never mind all that...I see you're one of those guys that likes to change the subject and act confused.

You asked why people assume Drake don't write. He has Hush on 75% of the songs on "Take Care", which is his best project according to his fans.

Never mind QM, and the reference tracks.

That's why. You seriously need more than that?

Fred.

Peep game though...the restraint was because there was opportunity to eat off him in some capacity, I don't think he ever really fukked with dude like that. Jay don't even like his friends :lolbron:

What opens the door for a lack of restraint is this streaming war that's poppin, which Joey was also addressing on that very podcast.

Drake reneged on Tidal two days before launch and rode off with Iovine and the old guard of the industry.

Jay Z said:
"My thing with Jimmy is, 'Listen, Jimmy; you’re Jimmy Iovine, and you’re Apple, and truthfully, you’re great. You guys are going to do great things with Beats, but … you know, I don’t have to lose in order for you guys to win, and let’s just remember that,'" Jay Z told Billboard. "Again, I’m not angry. I actually told him, 'Yo, you should be helping me." _

:francis:

Now that he's the competitions biggest asset on top of talking a lot of shyt throughout the Meek situation, there is no reason for restraint.

All this "I'm the new Hov" shyt is gonna be put into proper perspective.

Hush didnt start writing for him until so far gone. There used to be a slant article exposing the fact that hush writes for drake but it recently got deleted, I wonder why. I sounds like ovo made some calls

Are you aware Comeback Season came before So Far Gone?:dwillhuh:

If Drake was ALREADY spitting on that level prior to So Far Gone (Barry Bonds freestyle, Asthma Team, Man of the Year:sas2:) than my point of him dropping some Comeback Season type of bars on Joey stands while your claim of Nickleus F. providing anything but 2 hooks is looking shaky:manny:

I've been listening to Drake since CBS...my point is if he can spit like that WITHOUT help, then why sit in 2016 and act like he can't? :jbhmm:

That's what yall are doing...acting as if Drake needs someone to write for him in order for him to rap like he's Dr. Dre or Puff or Birdman or something:camby:

That is impossible when he's given us CBS already:yeshrug:
