thats not the argument

he said he likes and is used to drakes music being at the forefront of stuff. in the past drake would be the one dictating whats hot in terms of lyrics, flows, content, style, etc.

and on this album apparrently, he feels its more of drake trying to ride waves, but not the one dictating. thats been a discussion since WATTBA where he went to jump on the future wave.

thats typically the point when your career starts to cool off a bit, historically. when youre no longer the one breaking trends, but youre trying to keep up.

i dont think budden wants drake to make the same old songs over and over again but he doesnt want to hear drake trying to do some shyt you would hear from lil uzi or thugga or whoever else is out here bubbling now.
