Meek was our best chance lyrically and platform wise but black americans would rather support the ghostwritten half-Jew Canadian. When 4/4 didn't get the praise it deserved (best project this year and miles ahead of views) I was done with this Drake thing. He's going nowhere sadly.

As hip hop isn't just about lyrics...it isn't just about hooks and the beat. It's common knowledge it's other factors. But if an artist is ELITE at one of those factors, it should be noticed, bottom line. Me personally, I value lyrics. I value authenticity. that's hip hop to me.
You don't have to like depressing lyrics...just like I don't have to like trap lyrics...but i do appreciate trap for the beat and hooks...it's a lane for everything.

Joe has tried his entire career to make popular rap music and has failed at every turn. He only stuck with the depression gimmick because it garnered some fans attention

The mood muzik tapes are dope. He can rap his ass off. Him and Drake going back and fourth would lean to way more quotables than him and pusha or meek. I think Drake or his writers, if you feel that way, pen is nice as hell, too.
