We just might...
but this is about Budden, and how nikkas need to just be real with them self. The blind hate is fishy...
I agree. Like be real with them self and not call Joe Budden a legend.

There's different degrees to being "legendary" within Hip Hop like there is everything else. If I saw Biz Markee somewhere I'd geek the fukk out and show him love as a legend, doesn't mean he's a big star or even dropped a so called "classic", but he's responsible for a portion of the story in my history with the Hip Hop and rap music.
As a fan of this rap shyt if you ask me to recall the great MC's of my time, talk about moments, songs, projects, runs, Budden is going to make his way into the conversation. Not because he's on par with Jay/Nas or had a lot of commercial success, but there is a story there and a legacy of dope rhymes and being a staple in the era of the free album/mixtape when it made a shift in the overall game.
Biz Markie was part of Hip Hop in it's infancy. Just A Friend is a record that still gets spins and make people feel some type of way 30 years after the fact. He is a well known and popular individual with a legendary song....
A legend is an extremely notorious or famous person. Budden is neither.
Now if you want to call him one of the best lyricists of the 2000s, that is fine, but he's not a legend. Not unless we include Canibus, Shyheim, Immortal Technique, The GZA, Baatin, and anyone else you want to know who was a great lyricist but not considered 'legends' by most.
Joey would eat Drake alive. BUT, drake knows this, will get the best Ghostwriter he can, and already has the biggest advantage....Joey is self destructive.
The mood muzik tapes are dope. He can rap his ass off. Him and Drake going back and fourth would lean to way more quotables than him and pusha or meek. I think Drake or his writers, if you feel that way, pen is nice as hell, too.
Without a doubt. He's consistent.
pusha already got quotables dissing drake and that beef never really started.
Swordfish, my reality is more fishWhat are they? Is it the one questioning his deal when he basically had the same one?
