Joey's reach ain't that great. His L&HH fans don't even know his music. His podcast audience is mostly different than his music audience. Hell, he pretty much has the same fanbase as Royce & Joell. He said some great things about the HARD album, and people on here that listen to his podcast still didn't know they dropped an album.

of all the back and forth with rory and mal, i always thought mal nailed this point. joe severely, SEVERELY over-inflates his value as a musician. always has, even when it led to great music.

no one except his die-hards gives a shyt about another album. and while the die hards definitely have helped get the podcast off the ground, but two factors put it over:
- creatively, it was mal joining the show
- reach-wise, it was joe joining everyday struggle and building a new audience with ak

joe as a personality >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> joe as a musician. it was true during the weeks he was guest hosting on hot 97 back in the day, and it's true now.

After 13+ years of following Joe's career because I once saw Tahiry's ass on his Youtube vlogs back in WSHH days. I rooted for this man and bought his mixtapes and albums and always wanted him to win because I fell for his personality even though deep down I thought he was a talented lyricist, his music sucked. I was only really there for Tahiry's ass, his dumb shyt on ustream, and the joebuddentv forums.

I say that to say all this. After all this time, I think Joe is the problem. No way, hundreds of people have issues with you and falling out and it's all their fault and not yours. This nikka Joe Budden is sick bro.

this is true, there is 0 reason for joe to talk that way to someone he supposedly sees as a homie or brother, dude ego stay gettin in the way during these situations

i also think joell & crooked have obvious right to move on if the other 2 been passive

but you dont see what royce & joe sayin at all? like if you and i were in a group, and i been pressin you to work and you had other priorities ... you wouldn't look at me sideways if what i chose to put out without you is all about how you ain't tryna work, burning our group merch n all that?

:manny: as someone who was a fan of the group, i just hope glasshouse is available somewhere at some point

I get it, but its not that serious at the end of the day. It only got to that point cuz nikkaz would not communicate properly.

When has Joe ever acted like he was that guy in music?

I don’t get your point when it comes to that at all

Yo I just watched that Ortiz/Crooked video and... I can see why Buddens and Royce, corny as they are, took offense to that and I'm known to shyt on Royce and to a lesser degree Buddens.

@SunZoo is right, these cats were BURNING Slaughterhouse posters and merch and then asked Buddens to help promote it.

It's like if Raekwon, for all the beefing he's done with the Rza, suddenly started burning the Wu logo and then asked Rza to help promote it.

They went too far with that shyt, they could've adressed the situation respectfully: IF they wanted to be respected in turn.

They wanted it to be one way, it's the other way :yeshrug:

That’s based on skill.

joe would tell you his value ain’t in the same stratosphere as meth

The name of the list is best rapper ever. He should be honored that he was even thought of to be honest.

When you talking about best rappers, you have to include everything: music, impact, skills, sales. You cant just base the best rapper out of one criteria.

The name of the list was best rapper, not best lyricist, bar, punchliner.

Joe Budden was ok. Yes, he could rap. But overall his music was kind of trash. He picked wack beats and made wack songs. That's why he stayed underground.

Unless you were a "Internet Soldier" nobody gave a fukk about Joe Budden's music outside of "Pump It Up".
