Mary is actually too low. If we're taking impact into consideration, that woman was pivotal to the 90s. She's the foundation. #16 was too low for the impact she had.
Aaliyah should have also been higher than 40.
Fact is nobody actually on the list has ever denied her vocal talent. Yet everyone else has the opposite opinionY'all can't be serious about complaining about Beyonce out of all people from this list.
Even if you don't like her, she's a cultural phenomenon who has consistently put out projects for the last 30 years. She should be rewarded for that.
Is Sam Cooke on the list? Marvin gaye should not be behind no fukking Beyonce.
Mary has been way more influential than Brandy. That aint even a debate. Mary went a good 20 years, strong. Brandy's peak waa for 4 years and by the turn of the new millennium, she was flopping something serious. Chick was not relevant musically past 1999.Have you ever heard of a singer named Brandy. Imagine having her at 41,Aaliyah at 40. The. Telling me Mary was too low at 16 and that Beyonce,Whitney and Mariah deserve there spots
Brandy should definitrly be ahead of Mary. And id probably put her a few spots ahead of Aaliyah but its tough. If we gon talk 90s we gotta talk 90s. Dont tell me holleration got yall reaching
Then Alicia Keys in the 30s? She was projected to be the next Stevie![]()

Dawg, people criticize beyonce all day everyday. The one thing nobody can say in good faith is that she can't singHave their eyes ever lit up talking about her vocal talent
People know the power her and her team hold. And they arent shy about saying they will starve you out if you cross her. Plus she seems nice from outward appearance. Trashing her vocally would look like bullying.

Top 10 damn near looks backwards for me. Donnnie Hathaway and Smokey was somewhere in the teens irrc smh. Not sure how the hell Whitney is so high. And Beyonce is damn near blashemous over half this list. How is there 40 spots between her and Aaliyah?
These lists just make younger people argue with older people. Nevermind the fact that the older artists were household names with limited technology. It’s just funny to meNostalgia got you tripping.
I ain't never heard nobody say put that Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey on![]()
Facts. I really think they should have separated it by gender. Or maybe just condensed it to a certain era or something. Its just way too many great artists to try and condense it all into one all time list. Because fr fr, I also have a problem with Luther's placement. I didnt like Janet's placement, either.Usher a few spots too high as well.
The fundamental problem with that list is a lot of those artist biggest hits and it's impact weren't even in the R&B space and that goes to those Motown artist on that list as well.
Is Al Green and Jackie Wilson on it?Is Sam Cooke on the list? Marvin gaye should not be behind no fukking Beyonce.
