How do you know this? Some proof any proof will do.
Krs one is the first person that comes to mind. He said he would write a catalog every year going at the top rappers. Look at it this way breh, rap is a competitive sport. You never want to get caught off guard. So why wouldn't you always keep one in the chamber? It might not be so common nowadays, because everyone is "PC" but back in the day it was expected.

Anyone that is a real Hip Hop head saw the Biggie and Pac beef brewing before Quad studios. It's the art of subliminals. Don't think for one second real MCs are out here getting caught off guard... Unless their name is Meek.

Isn't obvious it was a quick money grab though?

They made the damn tape in a week and sold damn near 400k the first week

I fukks with Future but he'll never be as hot as he was this year. Gotta strike while the iron is hot

I don't know about that, its hard to be hotter than you were when you first came out as a new artist, and was dropping hit after hit....but Future managed to do that years after the fact, and after people thought he was cold and had his spot taken:banderas:

Its almost unthinkable what he did in this era:mindlown:,No he's coming off a album where he clearly outshined Drake and was the star,a pen game and flow on fire right now,I might have to say Future could have a bigger year next year.....Only thing that could slow him down is buying into the hype of these new fans and losing hunger....If he stays only concerned about his core fanbase like he been doing he cant lose.

That's only one MC. Who else does it?

There is a lot of diss tracks out there that never seen the light of day. Even Pac had 'em. If you a head do your research folks shouldn't have to school you on the art of being an MC.

Jay even had one going at Pac. It's the art of the game duke.

:dead: stop it. Stop it right now. You not gonna pretend that that's some common knowledge shyt like I'm supposed to know the 3-4 rappers who said obscurely that they had diss tracks ready. That shyt ain't normal.

Damn near everyone in the history of hip hop has unreleased dissed tracks going at each other. Rakim and Kane had them, Kanye has them... think about all of them MCs that said they were coming for Lil' Waynes neck that never did. It should be common knowledge seeing that "dissing" is such a big part of what Hip Hop is/was. No offense, but I don't see how anyone who calls themselves emcees don't keep rounds in the chamber. And I'm being conservative with just the few folks that I named.

This was a interesting convo, and they are right, alot of the youth will never know what makes Hov "Hov":wow:....Somebody on the podcast even had the nerve to say Jay would be the underdog in a Hov vs Drake battle,on a technical level:scust:...glad Budden set him straight

"I would never want to be the one to inspire a sleeping Hov:wow:"

I've heard this a couple of times in real life and I just stop taking their opinion seriously. Drake isn't in the same league as Jay.

:dwillhuh:

Are y'all for real? They're people in this world that actually think that?

I can't even... What the...
