Paul Brown the owner is notoriously cheap. Kept Marvin Lewis there as GM/Coach/Scout Dept because it was cheaper despite the mediocre results. They discover they have a franchise QB in Burrows and still cheap to get him an O line for proper protection--tore his ACL.

Feels like he just wants the team to be medicore enough to not have to spend too much.

Paul Brown is a legend and Hall of Famer. You mean his son Mike Brown. And he’s not really running the show anymore. They spent money on o-line the last 2 years. You don’t even know the owners name so I’m not surprised you don’t know that. The issue is they’re too loyal to our shyt ass coaches. They spent money the last 2 seasons on o-line and the line has continued to get worse as the season goes along. That’s coaching. O-line coach should’ve been gone after last season.

I hear you, but so was Peyton Mannings, yet he endured neck surgery after surgery to comeback and play, until he couldnt. He was already a fist ballot HOFer, All Decade teamer, 4 time MVP and Superbowl Champion. His love for the game and desire to be great, superseded that.

Peytons hate for TomBrady fueled him to keep playing. Joe doesn't hate Mahomes like that
