I want Shedeur to have the best opportunity to succeed...I think that entails him sitting, watching & learning from Flacco the first 8 wks...and then starting after the bye week in wk 10, which effectively gives him 2 wks to prepare for his first start

I'm pulling for Shedeur

The problem for Shedeur will be getting snaps.

Them Facility Show nikkaz were explaining how shyt goes in practice on a play.

You run a play 15 times
- 1st team QB gets 9/10 snaps
- 2nd team QB gets 3/4 snaps
- 3rd team QB gets one or two snaps

Currently Shedeur is technically 5th on the QB chart behind Flacco, NastyMan, Pickett, Gabriel. Since NastyMan is rehabbing, he's 4th. He should be able to beat out Gabriel for 3rd QB if he gets the snaps/chance. If he really gets the chance he should also beat out Pickett becoming the pseduo backup. NastyMan probably ain't coming back this season.

The reactions to this story are why so many teams wanted nothing to do with Shedeur after the first couple rounds: it's gonna be an endless circus. Flacco didn't say anything crazy. To me it's the exact opposite of what Ryan Tannehill said about Malik Willis. Tannehill was on his way out the door and clearly in position to be a mentor for the next guy, whereas Flacco is clearly still good and can be a successful starter for 2025.

fukk being the starter, I'm surprised Flacco is still in the league. Dude got benched for Anthony Richardson, who may be the worst QB in the history of the NFL. :scust:

There has been a few reports saying Gabriel doesn't look good at all. Where there is smoke, there is fire.

And they are going to start looking like idiots prompting Dillon up over Shedeur based soley on their personal bias rather than actual talent.
EVERY draft expert had Shedeur going in the first round, EVERY MAJOR ONE.

I'm still wondering what the fukk did he say/do during these interviews and pre-draft workouts? :wtf:

I wouldn't go by that article. Zac Jackson doesn't look like he knows much about playing football.

I watched every Gabriel snap for 2 yrs. The guy is good enough to be an NFL qb. A day 1 starter, ehh, probably not, but to say he "doesn't look like a nfl qb" is a little silly. Unless he's regressed.

Meh Flacco has been down this road and is crossing his Ts

Thanks for bringing this up

He wasn't a good mentor for AR last year either.

Right or wrong he is out there for himself, he wants to start and lead the team nowhere.

I need to see the articles and the specifics of what they're criticizing.

I mean, he's not a big dude like Flacco and not tallish like Sheduer

It's not even personal bias it's the fact that they drafted him 3-4 rounds higher than anyone projected him. The GM is going to look incompetent if Gabriel is QB4 so he's going to get more of a shot than Shedeur.
