Joe was always clutch no matter what. His issue wasn't clutch, it was he couldn't handle double teams at all. He was always a very good player. That's why I can't stand Hawk fans who talk dumb shyt on him.

For about 10-15 million a year Joe Johnson would be worth every penny for what he does on the court. He doesn't always assert himself but he can score pass guard a couple of positions and really has a great all around game. He just has never had that "ima take over cause im the best damn player on the floor" mentality. And because of that and for what he's getting paid he'll always be overlooked or called overrated. Which isn't fair but he can't be called to underrated, because he's a multiple time all star and is constantly talked about when the Nets play.

yup. joe at half his salary and more consistent game would be underrated. he is a good player though and not his fault he's overpaid.
