3 years isn't that long. Plus it's a big expiring contract that year. Getting Joe got Bk three years of playoff basketball, which is better than they were headed

He won't have a huge impact but dude will have led three teams to the playoffs (Suns, Hawks and Nets) over a long career. 6 time All Star. Helped put a lot of butts seats over the years. That's a productive career

Joe is a good player, especially when he wants to be but he's paid too much money to play really well sometimes. This dude just doesn't live up to his contract and it's not his fault that he's overpaid but that's the way it goes. He's not underrated at all.
