The Hawks knew exactly what they were getting, he's been in the league for years & has been a solid but not spectacular player. Don't act like he's a bum just because the team decided to overpay.

He lives up to his first contract i guess I'll give him that but Dude is a bum just look at his playoff stats

Based on the previous CBA, we had the ability to give him the max & we did that to prevent us from losing him for nothing. Hawks get a lot of heat for doing that deal, but they would've got more heat by letting him walk & getting nothing back.

Joe's a good player, but this team peaked last season in the semis vs. CHI. Joe is also on the decline. It's time to blow up our core & start over

As or source tells me, Nets would send Jordan Farmar, Johan Petro & a sign and trade w/either Humphries or Wallace (both FA's) for Johnson.
