the stand your ground law in louisiana and most places are so loosely written that it's slanted towards shooters. basically says you just have to have reasonable fear of bodily harm being done.
the problem is who determines if it's reasonable. black people are already stigmatized as threats for basically living. the same way those cops killed that brother in the walmart for carrying a bb gun while he was on the damn phone. their latent fear of us already justifies reasonable force in their minds.
i really believe we're in reality where we have to shoot first even though we could easily beat them to a pulp. it might be the only way we can get justice for ourselves. get armed brehs, and do so legally and safely.
