He was hated on because he sent out clear vibes that he doesn't care what media members at press conferences think about x's and o's. He knows that he and his staff know more about basketball than those people and media doesn't like when they are put in their place. So then they start an agenda. He was never as bad as folks made him out to be.
He revamped their offense this season (1st in shot generation; 2nd in offense) and had them as a top-10 team in the clutch (despite having players that make bone-headed decisions down the stretch of games, whilst not having a floor general). Everyone just unnecessarily and wrongly tried to use Udoka as a reference point despite this team showing the same bad habits last season.
It's his first year as coach, all at the tender age of 34 and the man has already won five elimination games. None of the best coaches in the league had everything figured out at that age.
@KnickstapeCity What's the size of this man's dikk if he pulls off the upset in face of all the criticism from the media whores?![]()

I'm speaking more in terms of this board. He was hated on because he sent out clear vibes that he doesn't care what media members at press conferences think about x's and o's. He knows that he and his staff know more about basketball than those people and media doesn't like when they are put in their place. So then they start an agenda.
I think he's done an amazing job. Even if they'd lost the series 4-1. Media only hold a lack of results against you if you don't play ball with them or if they have some other vested interest.
It was the same thing when the Rockets were putting up all those threes. Everybody talked about how it was ridiculous and basketball doesn't work that way and now everybody has adopted it and you're at a clear disadvantage if you don't do it but media won't admit they were completely wrong all those years. They'll make it about something else that was done wrong.
I was told by multiple sources that Spoelstra was the greatest coach in the history of team sports. What's going on here?

If we was bashing him (me included) we need that same energy now that he has flipped it. He's making adjustments, coaching on the fly and calling timeouts. Right now outcoaching the best coach in the NBA. Give that man his credit

The much more talented team is showin why they was -525 favorites headin to series
He makin adjustments but it was the dumbass rotation that got em down in first place. White shouldve always been startin yet it took him 3 games to realize that. Startin Horford wit Rob made sense for the Embiid matchup but for some reason he stuck wit it the first 2 games against a completely different matchup wit less size and more speed.
Had Jimmy huntin mismatches easy, gettin any switch and matchup he wanted and Bam better looks wit less swarmin for more rim pressure and easier jumpers.
Miami shot better from 3 again, committed only 5 turnovers, and they undrafted players Martin, Vincent, Robinson continue to play way above their head. And they gotta execute and shoot like dat cause Boston got way more talented and better ball handlers, drivers and scorers that can get inside. Jimmy only consistent one for Heat. Boston got 5, 6 nikkas that can create a play. Its the stars cant get make they shots due to a talent deficit against a much better, deeper team. Aint no one bein outcoached if you know what you watchin and not just lookin at result![]()
